Baby names for boy and girl - please rate 1-10 and tell me what you think?

I like Aidan but consider that it's a fairly common name at the moment. James is a nice classic name and one of my favorites. Ava is nice but I don't really care for Mae in any combination...it sounds a little "hillbilly-ish" (Sorry if it's a family name...but you asked)

What is important though is that you like what ever name you ultimately decide on. Good luck

I'd like it better if his middle name wasn't James. The name Aiden is nice though.

Ava Mae-7

It's a pretty name but think about Hannah Mae as one. I know someone with the name Hannah Mae and I love it.

I always wanted to name my son Aidan, because I thought it was a very unique name. He came about 5 years later, and now Aidan/Aiden is the most popular name of 2005-2006. Grrrrr!!!!

I also like Ava. That was another name I considered greatly, but because I got to name our son, my husband got to name our daughter.

I dont like the boy name at all. ( sorry ) but i think that the girl's name is very pretty and you should keep it. Another suggestion for girl's names would be :::

Both are pretty common now but I like them and Mae is my nickname....

I like them both, I'd give em about a 8 each. They're very unique and they both sound very good together.
