Why can't I find the episode list on Netflix Search?
New to Netflix on the Wii. When I use the search function to find a certain TV show, it pops up and I click it. However, it takes me to the first episode of the first season. It doesn't take me to a menu that shows all the episodes so that I can choose which one to watch. How do I get to an episode menu after searching for a show??
1 AnswerOther - Television8 years agoWhat is the name of the song where there are vocals singing the rhythm.. ma ma ma ma ma ma meh meh meh?
It almost (almost) sounds like George Michael 's "Faith," but it's slow and there is a lot of bass. The ma ma ma ma ma ma meh meh meh rhythm goes:
e+a 2e+a tri-po-let
and it's all on the same note.
I've tried googling this and am getting nowhere lol. The song is pretty recent.
3 AnswersLyrics8 years agoPlug on air conditioner melted and burned black. Can we replace the plug/cord- or trash the whole unit?
We live in a cape cod, where the entire upstairs is one bedroom cut off from central air. We placed a 12,000 BTU air conditioner upstairs for my son when we moved in 6 years ago. This summer, the air conditioner has been tripping the breaker, kicking off all power to his room. It's been doing this almost every other day, though it has done it in the past, but only on very hot days (today it's 90+ degrees). Today, we checked the plug, and it had a black mark on one of the prongs along with melted plastic. Is it possible to replace the cord or plug or is the unit toast? Also, what could be causing it to do this in the first place? We don't want to fix it, or buy a new air conditioner only to have this happen again. Thank you.
6 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years agoIf my husband caused an accident, and he is listed under my car insurance, can I be named in a lawsuit?
My husband rear-ended a car last fall at a low speed (approx. 15-20 mph) He was fine- the other driver was fine. The only damage in our car resulted in a bent license plate. However, her car had a scratch/missing paint and small dent in the bumper. The property damage claim was resolved. Now, the other drive has filed a bodily injury claim, and we received a letter telling us that it might exceed our coverage limits. My husband was the driver, but the insurance policy is under my name. If the other driver decides to sue, can I be named in the lawsuit? The reason I ask is that I am a student and have access to student legal services at the University, but only I am allowed to use them- no spouses.
2 AnswersInsurance & Registration9 years agoShould I receive a 1099 for payout from annuity if we already paid taxes on it?
My husband changed jobs last year and decided to pull the money out of his annuity from his previous job. He received a lump-sum payment, for which he paid taxes on. (20%) Are we required to count that amount as income even though we already paid taxes on it? As of today, we have not yet received a 1099 form in the mail (and it would not be available online.) We live in Ohio.
3 AnswersUnited States9 years agoKnocking noise in front, driver-side wheel when drive over bumps, snow.?
2004, Nissan Xterra, 4WD
Today was the first day I heard this noise, and it was below 20 degrees this morning. There is a knocking noise (and vibration I can feel in my feet) coming from the driver's side front wheel only, whenever I hit a bump, drive over uneven pavement, or through the snow. It happens regardless of whether I'm in 2WD or 4WD. It does not happen when I make a turn, and there is no squeaking.
1. What could this be?
2. How long can I continue to drive safely with the current problem?
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years agoWhat to bring as a side dish for a "steak and potato" Christmas dinner?
Weird? Yes, I agree. My mother decided she's not doing the turkey/ham route as the family attending Christmas dinner this year is downsizing and going elsewhere. Anyways, they are making steak and baked potatoes and I am to bring a couple side dishes. However, half of the people have issues with cheese and dairy (not lactose intolerance or an allergy- they just refuse to try it- yet will eat pizza with no issues), and I'm at a loss for an appropriate side dish to bring that won't go to waste. (I've had that happen before to veggies and dip, a pumpkin pie dip that utilized cream cheese, and even a jalapeno popper dip that everyone seemed to love until they realized the main ingredient was cream cheese.) I don't want to throw away my money. Any suggestions for this picky family??
13 AnswersCooking & Recipes9 years agoNissan Xterra won't turn over?
Wife's 2004 Nissan Xterra 4WD quit running. All the lights/radio working... make's no clicking noise/whirring noise. Starter's not being engaged at all. Used multimeter and tested it: 12V at solenoid studs.. went to 00.7V when turning the key. (Did same thing on my suburban for reference and it went from 12V to 9V.) Tried screwdriver across the solenoid studs... it just made a little spark but did not engage the solenoid or starter... made no noises. Could this be the ignition switch or is the starter faulty.... or anything else I could be overlooking???
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years ago2004 Nissan Xterra won't start.... won't turn over...?
A few days ago, my Xterra wouldn't start. It was making a noise as if it were trying to start, and sounded like it was "slowly dying." My husband took a look at it and cleaned the battery terminals. It was back to normal afterwards. Today, he bled the brakes as sometimes they don't grab and then the abs kicks in. Anyways, he test drove it for the brakes and told me the brakes were fine now but the abs was still kicking in whenever we braked while turning. I remembered that I had put air in the one of the front tires today, and checked to see if the tire pressures were even. Then I went to start the Xterra to see if making the tire pressure equal would kick off the abs, and it wouldn't start. It wouldn't turn over... just kind of making a hissing noise. The radio and wipers work fine. He checked the battery and its fully charged. I checked the alarm system and that's not the cause either. He checked the battery/starter connections and everything was fine there. Any ideas?
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoDo I need to see a doctor... softball line drive to the ankle?
During a scrimmage Sunday night, I took a line drive to my ankle near the end of the game. There's not much swelling, but there is bruising underneath where I was hit. It doesn't really hurt my ankle to walk on it (sore to the touch), but my calf and knee feels tight- like there's a lot of pressure when bending my knee after having it in the same position for a while. I've been trying to stay off of it as much as possible, and I've been icing it 20 min on/20 min off both nights, and it's doing much better today.
Do I need to go to the ER or see a doctor, and how long with it take for this thing to heal completely? I have another practice this weekend and am not confident that I will be able to make it.
3 AnswersInjuries10 years agoIs it normal for a seven year old boy to pull up the dresses of dolls.?
I just saw that my son had pulled up the dresses of all his sister's Barbie dolls and left them in her room. My daughter (5 yrs) said "he thought it was funny because you can see their butts." Part of me says that this is normal boy behavior, and the other part is a little worried. He does not know anything about sex yet, so I was wondering if other boys do this too.
7 AnswersGrade-Schooler10 years agoWhy does every ball I hit fly foul into left field?.... (slow pitch softball)?
My husband and I just joined a co-ed slow pitch softball league. Until now, I have only played fast pitch, and am just getting used to these heavy bats. At my first practice, every ball I hit flew into left field, but was clearly foul. Some even landed over the side fence. The bat I'm using is 34/28- could this be a problem with the length or weight of the bat? (I'm only 5'2") I don't want to drop money on another bat unless I know for sure that it's the problem. Thanks.
4 AnswersBaseball10 years agoWill parents think I am fishing for presents if I invite too many kids to my daughter's b'day party?
My daughter is turning five and in preschool. She also plays on a baseball team (coach pitch.) She wants to invite the girls and a few boys from her class to her party that will be held at a park with a playground/baseball field. I feel that it would be rude to leave out the last few kids and just invite them too. There is also another girl and a few boys on her baseball team she wants to invite, but once again, I feel it would be mean to leave the rest out. There are 11 other children in her class, and 8 others on her baseball team, totaling 19 (in addition to family.) I do not want parents to think I am fishing for presents, and would like to tell them, more or less "You don't have to bring presents. Just come and enjoy yourselves," but I've heard that it is rude to make mention of gifts at all in an invitation.
I just don't want anyone to feel left out. Any suggestions on how to handle this?
3 AnswersToddler & Preschooler10 years agoMy 4 yr old daughter has been getting spontaneous rashes/hives for the past 4 days?
I cannot connect them to food, laundry detergent, soap, etc. They appear on her wrists, all over her face, and ankles- and look like red patches with little white raised bumps. She has lived in the same area all her life. They appear out of nowhere, and then disappear on their own, usually after about 15 minutes- no scarring or anything, but she said they itch. She was treated for pinkeye last week, and was given antibiotic eyedrops, but she's had them before with no problems.
She's allergic to penicillin.
What could this be????
2 AnswersSkin Conditions1 decade agoBurning smell and heat coming from driver side tire after brake pads replaced.?
My brake pads were replaced yesterday (nothing else), and I have only driven it a few miles since. After I dropped the kids off at school this morning, I noticed a horrible burning rubber-type smell coming from the driver-side tire, and I could sense heat. What is wrong here??
10 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHow should I mail a hard document through usps....?
I am sending reinstatement paperwork to a University. It contains a cover letter, a 2-page application, plus 2 additional pages (all unbound.) I don't want to stick it directly into the document mailer (which is not waterproof cause they didn't have any in the correct size.) I feel like it needs something, but what should I put the packet in? Clear folder? A simple folder? Should it be bound somehow? I want it to look professional, but not as if I were turning in a Social Studies report on Canada. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks :)
1 AnswerHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoWhy is firefox suddenly running so slowly?? IE is fine, and the rest of my computer is fine.?
About 2-3 days ago, firefox suddenly started taking 10-20 seconds to load a page. Sometimes it stops responding. Internet explorer is working just fine. All the non-internet programs like Word, Windows Media Player, etc. are fine too. I can't upgrade to the new firefox yet. It isn't compatible with my online classes yet. Could there be any other reason it's doing this??

Anyone know of any converters that will convert adobe flash videos that are online (from camtasia relay)- with an address instead of a file name, to mp3 format. (Like how youtube converters work) I would like to burn my professor's lectures to CD so I can listen to them in my car. Thanks!
6 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoSqueaking noise coming from front passenger side... 2004 Nissan Xterra 4x4...?
Over the weekend, the passenger front tire started making a clicking noise that increased with speed. My husband took the tire off and didn't find any evidence for problems with the CV joint, wheel bearings, etc. He put the tire back on, and the clicking noise was gone, only to be replaced by a *very* loud clunking noise. We found out my leaf spring was broken and we had that fixed yesterday.
On the way home from the shop, I heard no noises. Today, whenever I hit a bump, I am hearing squeaking noises. The bigger the bump, the louder the squeaking- it sort of sounds like something is loose and shaking/bouncing. Anyways, I didn't hear this noise yesterday at all (which btw, was like 40 degrees and rainy, and today it's back down to 20 degrees and everything's frozen again.) What could this be? I don't want to have to take it back up to the shop if it's something that can be fixed at home.
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade ago2004 Nissan Xterra, loud noise coming from passenger side tire/s... sounds like clicking?
...the sound goes faster as I accelerate- only sounds when I hit the gas, but not in reverse. I have hit a lot of potholes this week.... (really hard to avoid them right now.) The sound quits when I go above 40 mph. What could this be?? I've checked for things stuck in the tires.
