If my husband caused an accident, and he is listed under my car insurance, can I be named in a lawsuit?

My husband rear-ended a car last fall at a low speed (approx. 15-20 mph) He was fine- the other driver was fine. The only damage in our car resulted in a bent license plate. However, her car had a scratch/missing paint and small dent in the bumper. The property damage claim was resolved. Now, the other drive has filed a bodily injury claim, and we received a letter telling us that it might exceed our coverage limits. My husband was the driver, but the insurance policy is under my name. If the other driver decides to sue, can I be named in the lawsuit? The reason I ask is that I am a student and have access to student legal services at the University, but only I am allowed to use them- no spouses.

Most liability insurance policies cover around 25,000$ for injury to one person. Sounds like somebody wants to scare you or your husband.I would ask to see the injury costs that he is talking about.
