I like hard rock/heavy metal/progressive metal, science fiction/fantasy, learning, reading, writing, and dogs.
Now that I've reached Level 7, what do I do here now?
Check it out - what I saw earlier tonight:

When I started this "odyssey," I didn't know I'd enjoy it so much at first. But I got hooked (like many of you), and went nuts trying to answer good questions with good answers. But I guess I got burned out on all the silly "What's 2+2?" types of questions and stupid spammers, and being on this site lost its charm. After that, all I wanted to try to do was get to Level 7 since there's nothing above it.
So, for those who are at Level 7, or those who want to go higher, what has motivated you to try to get there (or continue to go higher)? I'm just curious and honestly not looking for motivation to stay.
9 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWho's a better rapper, Gollum or K-Fled?
First, the "Gollum Rap (Towers are the Players)":

Now, for K-Fled's laughable "performance":
5 AnswersMusic1 decade agoWill people ever stop asking about MySpace and Yahoo Messenger tonight????? STOP IT!!!!!?
I think we're all quite aware that neither service is up and running tonight. Give yourselves and the rest of us a break: go read a book instead.
(Yes I know I blew 5 points, but I hope I get the message across.)
7 AnswersInternet1 decade agoWhat does this song mean to you (especially that chorus)?
Moonlight Pact (by Pagan's Mind)
A teardrop lined your chin
The marble skin your empty shell
For now you descend
Where your dreams dwell
I strain my vision far
And gather all thy rays
A slumber sleep
Your flight to endless shores
Has ceased your self
In lunas noble light
A starry sky the angels cry
The path in front of your life
Did face and end
Enclosed by endless peace
A silent hush through
Branches of trees
Enforced by earth to leave
[Chorus:]
I know the time has ceased
Tears fill my eyes, I'll see
Drowned in grace, my loneliness
Under the moonlight sky
We signed our pact
Await the fall of life
The sands of time
Did grant me sleep
I have no longer tears to weep
A rainy stormful night
The sky cleared up
And from the clouds
Your marble skin had come to life
2 AnswersMusic2 decades agoDoes anyone else have problems seeing their Yahoo profiles?
I have a couple of ID's on this account - when I post on the message boards, I can't see my "wheezer_april_4th_1966" profile, but I can see all of the others. I tried making some temporary ID's to test out a theory, and I couldn't see those, either, so it might have something to do with the date of creation/last change.
Does anyone know a solution? I know I could once remove the final forward slash from the address bar to see profiles, but that doesn't change anything now. Thanks.
2 AnswersPosting Messages2 decades agoWhat made you start drinking coffee? And how do you take it?
The whole "morning cup of coffee" thing has intrigued me for a long time. I always wondered if it's just "an adult thing to do" or if people actually like the taste of it. And doesn't it seem somewhat counterproductive to have to add so much to it to make it drinkable?
What are your thoughts/reasons on this?
15 AnswersNon-Alcoholic Drinks2 decades agoWhat do you think of the band "Rush"? (Geddy, Alex, and Neil)?
For three guys to have stuck together for 30+ years and churned out such consistent sales (every album gold/platinum) is a Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame-worthy feat, isn't it?
(I'm only asking about them because of my point total after the 2-point deduction:

5 AnswersMusic2 decades agoTruthfully, why is a 'Members Only' jacket a source of ridicule?
This is not a rhetorical question - that means I want answers. That also means I want *reasons,* not some hint that I should "just know" this.

"Finally, tonight, the Winter Games. Count me among those who don't like them and won't watch them...Because they're so trying, maybe over the next three weeks we should all try too. Like, try not to be incredulous when someone attempts to link these games to those of the ancient Greeks who never heard of skating or skiing. So try not to laugh when someone says these are the world's greatest athletes, despite a paucity of blacks that makes the Winter Games look like a GOP convention. Try not to point out that something's not really a sport if a pseudo-athlete waits in what's called a kiss-and-cry area, while some panel of subjective judges decides who won...So if only to hasten the arrival of the day they're done, when we can move on to March Madness -- for God's sake, let the games begin."
