Now that I've reached Level 7, what do I do here now?

Check it out - what I saw earlier tonight:

When I started this "odyssey," I didn't know I'd enjoy it so much at first. But I got hooked (like many of you), and went nuts trying to answer good questions with good answers. But I guess I got burned out on all the silly "What's 2+2?" types of questions and stupid spammers, and being on this site lost its charm. After that, all I wanted to try to do was get to Level 7 since there's nothing above it.

So, for those who are at Level 7, or those who want to go higher, what has motivated you to try to get there (or continue to go higher)? I'm just curious and honestly not looking for motivation to stay.

Update:

(BTW, this should be the last question I ask here. Just sayin'.....)

My heartiest congrats to you my dear...;)

A very difficult 'journey' I bet.

Heck I'm STILL trying to get there, lol=P (I'm currently stuck in L5 btw)

Hmm... my suggestion would be an 'early retirement'? Take this time now to stop & smell the roses dude.

I agree with you 'bout the novelty of Y! A wearing off... not quite as appealing as when it first began.

And judging from the 'quality' of questions, I believe I'm not alone in thinking that either, lol.

However having said that, I'm not throwing the towel in just yet, I just hope I'm still alive & breathing when I do=)

First, congratulations! Second, I was wondering the same thing, esp since I just got to Level 7 on Saturday. I guess for me, it's still fundamentally about answering questions that help others + learning. I spend a lot of time voting - trying to break some of the old tiebreakers. By doing this, I help award others their 10 pts for great answers + I learn a lot in the process.

I guess also, it's kind of fun to see myself making progress & moving up the leaderboard each week.

Congrats!! It takes a ton of things to get to each and each new point, and for what!? All we are given is a few greater questions and solutions. The reward gadget sucks here. As for celebrating, flow out and get some sunshine as i'm particular you're very diminished, lol!

Well congrats on your achievement! I guess now you can just sit back and enjoy reading and answering questions without trying to get to the next level??

I am able to look past all the stupid and sarcastic questions and go to the ones where people are actually needing help.

You should take over the Tonight Show" or David Letterman show. Go on the view. How about that?
