my hubby is facing a surgery in the near future. its just a minor procedure (in and out same day) in the past hes had a minor procedure done that was supposed to be like an hour surgery. it turned into almost 4 hours because i later found out he had died on the table and they brought him back.

although this is just another minor procedure im scared out of my wits for him that the same thing will happen again. trying to be strong for him but how can i cope with the looming thoughts of the previous procedure?

my father in law answered my phone today! he has his own (cell) phone so i know he wasn't expecting a call from anybody, but when hes at my house he says he "needs" to answer my phone in case its somebody important.

we have an answering machine that i have repeatedly told him of this and he still insists on answering my phone
