English native speakers please: What is the difference between, "Time is over, and time is up?"

Can we use both in the same sense, "No more time is left?"

  • How if a global living rules' constitution established by U.N. apart from religion intervene?

We see numerous Innocent people are being sentenced into brutal unforgivable punishments, such as torture, hanging; stoning to death, the worst instance, and killings, of course! And the most have religious bases and reasons/excuses. Nonetheless; all explained away as illegality or against holy books, Haddis, messengers and Allah!

However, we see that such governments practically do not feel responsibility for their numerous people’s problems, and they consider things like hunger, inflation, poverty, unemployment, homeless, and so.. as small things; while, billions and billions of Dollars are being spent upon things to keep their power.

Importantly; in religious regimes of mostly Muslims, criminals committed robbery, frauds, hooligan’s stabbing, raping, may not be captured, and even if, it might take years before, they are punished; but a very common criticism or protest takes less than few hours to be sued and...!! Similar cases took place before Renaissance era in the west, when churches on power; just like Mullahs of Persia, caliphs of Arabs in the 21st.century of civilisation, by their MOSQUES! Alas!!

  • Why not some religious questions into debates!?

First of all, frankly my belief is that numerous people from across the world, like ME have trusts and intentions in Yahoo Site as their land of trusty and dreams, which deserves great appreciations.

    But a question is:

Are the social affairs not the main purpose of the SITE; while a great number of helpful staff spends a huge investment and time upon it?

Social affairs are not other than security, hygiene, welfare, economy, psychology, biology, politics, and religion much indeed. And all detachable in our lives, I believe. Particularly, at the current boring era.

All we see that war by Al-Qaida, Iraq, Taliban in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine and most of the Middle East region, a part of Africa like Somalia; has mainly religious and ignorance motivations. Nonetheless, hunger is important as well. But; most of the nations’ revenue especially Muslims’ is being spent on war.

Further more, how many suicide attacks, out of hundreds during the recent decades, which have taken place all over the world; have been other than; the religious extremists through enormous amount of money via their complicated net work, sad to say, all wasting?

How can we ignore the effects of religious war all across the West by Al-Qaida; which innocent children, the elderly, women and men have been killed or wounded, since Sep, 11th!?

And ultimately, despite the fact that, we all know the questions and answers are exchanged between the people themselves, and not by Yahoo.

However, what is wrong if they get the chance to reject or agree, by giving their reasonable responses?

I am now annoyed, because, despite my loyalty in Yahoo as a 10 year member,” Yahoo answer team” deleted a religious question , right after I clicked the highlighted dialog box to submit the answer to it bysaying, 22 of August, 2011-08-22!

  • I wonder to know if there is anything wrong with marriage...?

I am 56, 175 high, 66 kilos weigh, grey hair, quite healthy, stable in almost all aspects, educated, English language instructor, translator & interpreter into another, my children grown up with good education. But SAD to say, My lovely wife passed away, because of a heart disease, some three years ago, and I had inevitably to register in a 'singles dating" site in the hope of finding my new soul mate for more than one year; but regretfully have not yet found any to welcome me, except for those fatty 40s & 50s!!!

I am asking, "Is it really disgraceful for a young woman to marry one like me, from any culture or ideology, except for fanatics or those without any things in common!!!?

    Thank you
