My wife & I are planning a train trip from San Antonio to Boston in the summer of 2018, so this is in the early planing stages. The Northbound Texas Eagle leaves San Antonio at 7am, I'm wondering does the dining car open for breakfast shortly after leaving San Antonio?

In a few yrs I want to take the Amtrak from San Antonio to Boston. We'll take the Texas Eagle to Chicago & then change to the Lakeshore Ltd to Boston. We will have a sleeper on both trains, but I'm wondering how many sleeper cars are usually on the Boston to Albany branch since it splits off there in Albany

As far as I know only the 2 states of Oregon & New Jersey that I know for sure do not have self service gas ANYWHERE in the state. VA Residents is that the same for you?

I just put a deposit down for a 5 day cruise on the Carnival Ecstasy for our 10yr wedding anniversary, sailing on Dec 22. In setting up on the Funpass check in I'd like to know do I get charged right away for the gratuites?

My wife & I are planning to go on the Carnival Ecstasy on Dec 22 to celebrate our 10yr anniversary(which is Dec 19). It will also be our first cruise. I'm really wondering which of the nights are considered formal? Also we do live in the Houston area, so we'll have family take us to the port as well as pick us up. Any other info on the Ecstasy and the port of Galveston will be helpful.

My parents took out a life insurance policy on me when I was a baby back in 1968. I'm not sure as to how long this was paid up & it has accured interest. They are both deceased & I have to send Met Life a copy of both of their death certificates before they can change it to my name & I can cash it in. I'm wondering just how long does this process take as far as the change in ownership?

I'm planning to take my wife on a cruise next December 2008 for our 10yr anniversary. The rules on airlines require that liquids such as shampoo must be in a 3oz size bottle & that they must be in a clear 1qt size container. I'd like to know if those same security measures that are in place on airlines also apply for a cruise ship too?

Yesterday (4-30-2007), Dave in St Louise Non-hunter is a frequent e-mailer to the radio show. He ended up calling up & ran some excellent smack. No one has ever done well in both e-mails & in calls.
