I believe the powersupply of my PC overheated? Does anyone know the symptoms of this? Will everything be okay if I just get a new powersupply?

Several years ago I read a very intriguing article that was about the current young-adult generation and why they are staying single longer and why they don't settle down. The article spoke to how "our" past generation took jobs and had them for their whole career where now people change jobs and homes and significant others all the time. It spoke to how making a committment is difficult for the current generation because "we" have a difficult time with closing doors and not keeping our options open. It gave several examples of young professionals and how they don't like making long term committments in all facets of their lives. In the end, it spoke to the thought that in some cases closing some doors and embracing certain opportunities with conviction and committment can lead to happiness that most of the current generation is struggling to find. Does this ring a bell with anyone and if so any chance you know where I can find it?

11 AnswersDesktops2 decades agoSemantic question...isnt' there a very big difference in the interpretation of these two remarks?
I recently had sex for the first time with the girl I'm dating. Afterward, I told her, "She was better than I thought she was going to be."
She got a little upset and said she "heard" - "baby, you weren't as bad as I thought you were going to be." I adamantly disagreed and said that typically I feel a little awkward the first time I have sex with someone and that the time with her was more comfortable, thus "better" than I thought it was going to be. I just want some outside perspective, did I say the wrong thing or was what I said truly a compliment?
