I have an iPod touch, second generation. My iPod was working fine until today; I hooked it up to the computer and nothing happened. The computer didn't recognize it, it didn't start charging, iTunes didn't recognize it. I hooked up an old iPod and it worked fine. Help?

I have the old version, which won't let me put pictures on my nano because there's no picture tab, so I wan't the new itunes.

Also, a little white thing came with my silver nano. Is that a dock? What should I do with it?
