  • Why shouldn't...?

I have a debate coming up and the topic I have been assigned to debate for is:

Why shouldn't it be mandatory for middle-school girls to receive the HPV vaccination?

I realize there are far more points for why it should stay mandatory but I am having trouble finding reasons why it shouldn't, which is why I needed your help.

The points I have for why it should NOT be mandatory are:

    - it restrains parents' autonomy in raising their daughters

    - middle school girls are not educated enough about the vaccination or virus

    - government is sexist because boys are not mandated to get the vaccine

    - it doesn't totally help prevent cervical cancer, meaning tests still have to be done.

    - gives females a false sense of security

These are the best points I could come up with and find online. I realize they may not be strong but its the best I've got so far, so any different points supporting this argument would help!

please include valid sources if possible, thanks in advance!

  • Why should...?

Why should it NOT be mandatory for middle school girls to receive the HPV vaccine?

    I have a few points including;

they arent educated enough about it

the government is sexist (because boys dont have to get it)

even though it helps prevent cervical cancer, it only does a 70% job

i was hoping you guys could help me think of a few more points as to WHY it should not be mandated.

please include valid sources if possible!

    thanks in advance

  • Are me and my girlfriend's calls being tapped?

okay so me and my girlfriend talk on the phone a lot (probably 4-7 hours a day) because we can't see eaach other that much

but just recently we've been hearing sounds like somebody dialing a number on the keypad, or it would just randomly cut and say call failed

at first, we thought nothing of it. WE thought it was an accident that one another made, But then one day, she heard the number dialing sound and she asked me if it was me, but i couldnt have possibly pressed any number because i had my headphones in and my phone was beside me

and then it happened again but from her end, and she told me it wasn't her. So this has been happening a lot and we just recently realized that its not accidental by either of us, so we have come to the conclusion that our calls are being tapped.

also it will randomly cut and we will both hear that beeping noise that you hear when someone hangs up. We realized that this is not accidental either because neither one of us hangs up.

    what could be going on..........?
