  • All believers who do not believe Doomsday...?

    and to those who do believe. My question is, when are we able to take people's words seriously as truth and other times not so? Intended for Christians only.

  • How do you evolve DNA?

    Now we all know what DNA is? It's a library, yes it's a library containing all the 'books' with all the information required to determine what you look like, among a host of other info it holds.

    ADHD is a sort of 'letter' writing.

    Well, I was looking at an ant today. I was looking at it quite amusingly. It's head was the size of a pinhead. Its mandibles were hardly visible. But it had gigantic feelers like that of Hellboy.

    So the question I want to ask is how do account for evolution if embedded into each one of us is a huge holding cell used for containing relevant information.

    What a DNA looks like can be found at http://www.wikipedia.org/

  • This is the point of being a believer right?

    The believers have a experienced something supernatural in their lives which caused them to change their outlook at God and Jesus.

    While the atheists have no such experiences, or haven't had one.

    The reason why believers believe is because of a profound life-changing turn in their lives which made them turn to Jesus. And don't just believe on blind faith.

    Believers believe because they have felt, seen, heard, touched Jesus Christ. And none have seen the other gods/goddesses in other mythological, mythical folklores.

    Anyone wanna hear a testimony?

  • Atheists, have provided a better argument for God.?

    Creationist arguments (a)

    God created life =>

    Every life has a story =>

    Stories have meaning =>

    Meaning = purpose

    There is more to life than meets the eye, if life has purpose,

    God created life.

    Over to the evolutionists propagandists, their argument would be:

    Man evolved from ...

    Better than Archangel's noe?

  • SO what makes the Bible Authoritative?

    @For my own reference, I am collecting a list of household reasons on why Christians think the Bible authoritative or "The Word".

    Christians, I need your Bible knowledge right now. help me to answer this, in your own words preferably.

    CIRCULAR LOGIC - I don't want you to come with reasoning like "because it's in the Bible so it's true" or "because the Bible says it is so therefore it is true". If we say that "God is real" and how do you know God is real? and we answer "God is real because He's in the bible" and how do we know the Bible is true? we answer "because God says so" is a circular reasoning.

    BUT I am not refraining you from quoting the Bible. Use it when it makes sense.

    Additional:

    "What makes the Bible a superior moral guideline?"

    "Which book would you save if your house was on fire, and why?"

    "What did you find in the Bible to be true, real, useful?

    "How did reading the Bible change your life?"

  • Is God a he only?

    Someone asked, "If God is a he only, then he should be creating males only." If this is true, can you cite any references to back up the claim.

  • What if they uncover Noah's Ark?

    Right now I'm watching a show- people filming on some mountain in Turkey. If it really was a boat up there and they manage to excavate or least show some evidence. Would you want to believe in the Bible then?

  • Which Christian would you support?

    For the president's race, which candidate would you root for and why? In the news, Barack quit church because of the various controversies you had to endure, would you think differently of him now doing such a thing.

    From an empirical standpoint, their causes would most likely be affected by their apparent motives and beliefs. As Christians they values and morals would likely be the same.

    But even from Christian to Christian, our basic outlook at life is different. And our ideologies would also be different. The things they consider as important could be not as important as the next Christian. This would likely be from their root belief system of Christianity. Knowing that the quality of their candidate would not be strained by their beliefs but by what they considers important, and that voting for each one of them would likely affect you somehow or rather, who would you like to vote for?

    (as atheists, first, then non-atheists.)

  • How did Christmas come about?

    When did it start? I need a good answer because even though I know the meaning yet I don't know its origin. Be objective and spiritual to answer and to learn. Christmas is about caring and sharing not just giving and receiving. Christmas is the only holly-day which everyone celebrates. Merry Christmas and 'happy 'Birth'-day' to the Saviour of the world.
