If the scenario was after a mother died recently and between savings, checking, money markets, life insurances and sale of home (equity) the number gets close to $400K. I read there wasn't tax on iheritence and I know the state of Texas doesn't tax it. Curious about what people say before contacting a tax attorney. Any info y'all?

do I have to winterize it somehow? Never owned a Spa before and i really don't have the time right now to deal with it. Had to put it in the house deal though. Hell the old owner paid like $8500 for it, Crazy.

It's not in great shape but the paints solid but hazy w no rust. (maroon) and the interior is in great shape. All the glass is clear/clean. 360 V8 w/new 2 barrel carb/fuel pump. All power (seats/windows/locks,rear window, etc) and everything works. Chrome is foggy but not rusty. Idle is a little off but when you're driving it's fast and fine. All gauges work except oil press. Close to 170,000 miles. Has proper rims for make/model. Engine grime but started after one pump of the pedal. whatcha think??

I will soon sell property that I own free and clear post Hurricane in Texas for about $60,000. The house has been demolished and this is now just property. I am currently renting a home and need another year to complete Nursing school. I have no immediate plans to buy a house as I have no full time employment until school is completed. How can I use this money to possibly pay off a credit card debt or use as living expenses while finishing school? How can I keep it free from as many taxes as possible?

I was standing, curling a single curling bar w/85lbs on it. I felt an instant sharp pain on the left side of my back about even with my elbows. This happened after my 4th set. Now after 3 days and constant stretching and heat therapy it's still there and continues to catch my breath as I try to stand.....gingerly. Any ideas what happened and/or how to help the injury.

I took a few days off after a rear end collision and after 3 days my work wants a "treating medical professional" to fill out some forms for a medical leave of absence. My family physician says I can go back after one week. My Chiropractor says I should not perform physical work for 3 weeks or until my pinched nerve/muscle spasms start to go away.

Can a Chiropractor make these decisions and fill out a medical leave form??

I'm not lazy.....I just dont want to aggravate an ongoing back issue!
