I went to the podiatrist and had nothing done. He had the nurse make strappings for me which I was billed for and then she brought in a box to get molds of my feet. After this was done I was told it was for custom inserts, which I assumed it was. If that is billed as surgery it is crazy. I was billed $168 to put my feet in foam and the inserts, if I get them, will cost $200. Please tell me this may just be an error. It is the weekend so I can't call the office and I haven't tried the insurance company yet.
