I have some beautiful English ivy growing around a majestic oak tree. However there are some unsightly tree saplings of different varieties trying to come up through the ground cover. How can I safely get rid of them once and for all without disturbing the ground cover or the tree?

We are having a costume contest here at work based on TV personalities. I was wanting to dress in their store uniform. Any idea where I can get one of these shirts?

I recently purchased Digital TV service for my house. Only one room has it but I want it in the bedrooms and didn't want to pay AT&T bundles of money to connect it. Where can I purchase a digital TV Receiver and is it difficult to hook up? Anything I should be aware of?

The company I work for was recently aquired by another and the WARN act was activated. I think I understand how this Act applies in the state of Texas by giving me employment (or pay should my services not be needed) through the 60 days from aquisition notification. But does this new company have to honor your accrued vacation time you did not take should they let you go early.

Also...sorry...my Anniversary date was November 4th. I turned my portion of my review over to my boss well before the aquisition on December 7th, but never got my review. Now they have placed a freeze on any merit pay increases. This means I did not get any deserved increase. Do I have any rights or did I get screwed here?

There is a group of 10 of us traveling to NYC in September for one night before we set out on a cruise. We will need 5 rooms. Everything in Manhatten seems way over what we wanted in price. Can anyone recommend a nice place between $100 and $150 for each room? I am needing it to be something not too far from where the Cruise Lines are.

I am driving from Quebec City to Toronto and want to stop somewhere on the way to break up the drive. I will be driving along the main Freeway along the St Lawrence River. Is there a nice town that I can stay at to break up the drive other than Ottawa and Montreal? I am looking for a nice small town.

I am flying into Buffalo, NY and driving to Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.

Any fun things off the beaten path? Looking for an anwer(s) from someone who has experienced these areas. Not links to places they have never been to.

I am planning on traveling through the Quebec area and need some ****INEXPENSIVE**** but **nice** lodging and points of interest. I am planning to start in Toronto, then to Ottawa, on to Montreal and then Quebec City. Any small towns B&B's along the way that are good?? Is there something more interesting to see not too far from this parth?? Do you recommend something different other than these cities listed?

There were so many in Dallas who left school and protested, but every one that they interviewed on the News seemed to be just doing it to get out of school for the day. People who called the station were not at all impressed with the students. They were saying that all they achieved was causing a traffic jam downtown for the people who work for a living and that they should know why they are protesting.
