I'm kinda bummed out.. Sept 4 I started doxycycline. I was prescribed to take it for a month for Lyme. But Sept 29 we are going to Dominican Republic for a week at an all inclusive. Now some of the warnings on the meds talk about exposure to the sun and i have read stuff about trying to avoid alcohol.. its like then what's the point of going on this trip ;-) ... should I come off the dox a week before vacation? Or what should I know about these warnings??

Some time this summer i would love to take a weekend and set up a tent on the beach, build a fire, and wake to the sound of the waves crashing... Is there anywhere in the Tri-State area NY NJ or CT where we can actually do this?

A group of friends and I are headed to have some fun down in the city on 1/9, Does anyone know of a fun place to get drinks, maybe dessert and some live music? A cheap place would be great!

So im looking to get back on BC, i start taking when i first got married, but stopped now im wanting to get back on it. Was thinking about taking Yaz but just read a ton of horrifying stories on some forum, so now im freaked out, but the one good thing is they said it helped with losing weight... but everything else was like headaches, hearing and vision problems, strokes, & emotional crying episodes, so now my question is what has worked for you or what do you recommend? There are too many things out there, and right now im just confused...

So my best friend since "the womb" (as we like to say) just got engaged last Saturday, she has been planning the wedding for a little while now, I had no idea. She said she felt dumb saying anything without being engaged. So now that she is engaged and is planning everything, she hasnt said anything to me about being in the wedding, i have offered my help and she said she will be needing it. Do you think I should ask her "So, whos in the wedding?" Or should i just wait it out even though, its killing me whether or not i'm in it.She was my maid of honor in my wedding! And we have always talked about being in each others wedding. We were so close that I even thought I would be her maid of honor, but since she hasnt said anything I have no idea what to think......What do you think?

So saturday morning I woke to a bang. so I thought oh god what has my cat gotten into now? I walked out of my bedrrom door and saw a racoon in my apt. (sliding doors were cracked open a lil bit) with my cat, they werent fighting, just kidda looking at each other. The racoon went to the bathroom near the kitty litter, ate some bread that we left out on the counter, knocked over a lid of a pot that was on the stove (which is what I think I heard) and ate my cats food.. Im pretty sure I would hear if my cat and racoon was fighting, it was like 10 to 9am but still pretty dark out b/c of the rain, so when the racoon saw me it went back outside and fell asleep in the corner of my deck, I think b/c it was drier then being on the ground plus it was morning. Question is even though i checked my cat for any bites and she seems fine, and i threw out her old food dish and bought a brand new one... is there any way of my cat or me or my husband getting rabies... if of course the racoon had it?

What is the price of Royal Caribbean's ground transfer is from airport to cruise port?

Does anyone know if I were to fly in to Orlando and the port is in Miami.. would the ground transportation pick us up there? Or do I HAVE to fly in to Miami?

Im planning a Royal Caribbean cruise for September, and I really don't understand how the drinks work, the regualr fountain drinks.. do have to pay for them at dinner? Or are they free with your meal? If you could tell me about the alcohol drinks also that would be great, the websites confuse me, so anyone that has been on the ships with any info would be great!!
