I have a Virgin Mobile phone, that I own in the United States. Will it work if I were to go to another country, like in Europe?

i have recently bought a slyvania 20" lcd tv.

my dvd player is about 3 or 4 yrs. old and its a mitshibushi.

my video 1 is my playstation 2 this works fine. its in color and the sound works.

my video 2 is the dvd player. when i hooked it up, the sound was good...but it was in black and white!

i tried to hook it up another way but when i did the screen was blue and the sound was still working!!!

i have the cords that are yellow, red, and white.

yes i know that the yellow is for video and the white and red are audio.

both the devices (tv and dvd player) have a s-video plug.

do i need to get the s-video hooked up to both so that the dvd wont be playing in black and white???

please tell me im going crazy!!!

also provide step by step instructions because im not good with technology!!!! haha
