About three weeks ago I woke up with one of my breasts feeling sore. I didn't think much about it until the next day. It was so sore that just bumping into something was torture. I went in to see my doctor when it had been going on for about a week. She told me that since I'm young (24) and don't have any obvious lumps, swelling or anything like that, that is most likely just hormones and should go away on its own. She had a pregnancy test done just to make sure. It was negative, as I knew it would be. After another couple days I started to have pain in the other breast too. Now a good three weeks later, could even be a little more, they are both still super sore. They are tender to the touch, just walking fast sometimes hurts. If I go back into see my regular doctor I'm sure she is going to brush it off like she did before. Anyone experience anything like this before? I've tried pain killers, it doesn't do anything. I've used a heating pad and again it helps at the moment but not after. I'm going to try to get in to see a different doctor but with my insurance that's easier said than done.

I have a friend who was on vacation for a bit over a month. When she got back to her rental house she found water coming out of the door. It looks like a pipe burst around the water heater. Hot water was leaking into the house for an unknown amount of time. The heat was on so it was not because a pipe froze or anything like that. There is mold all over everything. They don't have renters insurance so they already know that their property is gone. The thing is the agent for the landlords homeowners insurance came out and told my friend that she is responsible for the damage. Since the pipe that burst wasn't her fault or caused by her then the worst they can do is take her security deposit right? Actually since its not her fault I'm not even sure they can do that. She lives in Georgia. Can anyone tell me if they have had something like this happen and what they did?

My mother does daycare in her home. A little while back she got a new Westinghouse refrigerator. A couple days ago one of the kids took a magnet and scraped it down the side. The scratch is driving my parents crazy. Does anyone know of a way to fix the scratch?

Thanks everyone who has answered my question so far. My daughter is pretty close to an average 20 month old, but she doesn't talk much. Her first real word was the dogs name though. Sometimes she is great with him and other times she isn't. They grew up together and this is more or less new for her. I do agree with people saying its a game to her. One of my parents cats will play back at her, even gets her with his nails sometimes. She will come to me crying and usually I will make sure its not bad but I don't really comfort her since she does need to learn from it. But a few minutes, or not even, later she is back over messing with the cat. I have tried sitting with her in my lap and showing her how to pet and be nice to the animals. Usually it ends with her giving me a look and then pushing or hitting the animal. That is the point where she doesn't have contact with the animal anymore.

My 20 month old daughter has started being really mean to our animals. It started slow and it has gotten really bad. She will chase the cat and dog around like crazy. If the dog is sitting on a chair she will walk over and push him off then laugh. Sometimes she gets the cat cornered and she pulls her tail or ears. We rescued two kittens a few days ago and at first she was really good to them. Now she will walk over and push them or try to grab onto them. They are both young so they don't really fight back. She tries to pick them up by their necks and carry them. I have really been keeping a close eye on her and making sure she isn't hurting them. I have tried just yelling at her, both in a normal and loud mad voice. It has no effect at all. Sometimes she will just run and then its a game. I get on her level and get in her face and tell her that its not okay but again it doesn't do anything. I have tried holding the animals and showing her how to pet them but it only does so much.

I'm moving back to the states and want to get a new cell when I get there. I'm going to use verizon since thats what everyone I know has. Anyone have a phone that they love? Why?

I have been looking for a new digital camera. I have a nice Canon Dig. SLR right now. I want to get something small to keep in my purse and take around with me. They had a sale at a store here and I tried the Nikon Coolpix L11 and it was cheap, but not fast enough for me. I was thinking about spending about $150 but maybe I need to get closer to $250. Can anyone tell me about a camera you have that you like. Something that takes good pictures of moving targets! It needs to be rather quick. Thanks!

My daughter just turned one. When she was small people laughed at her when she hit them. I have to say I did too, but when she started getting older I stopped, but others didn't. Now she will hit my face, and my husbands and laugh at our reactions. I have tried just putting her down and walking away. I have tried taking her hand and rubbing my face and saying "be nice" or something like that. I have said no and we don't hit and such. I have even tried smacking her hand and saying no. I know thats not what the right thing to do is, so what is the right thing!? She just laughs or smiles and tries it again. She is very sweet most of the time but hard headed as well.

My daughter is going to be 1 in two weeks. She has no teeth and no real sign of them. She plays with her ears, but she always has. She drools, sometimes a whold lot, but then it goes away and nothing. Anyone know what they do if her teeth don't come in soon? Anyone have kids or know of kids that got teeth late?

I have a 10 month old little girl. How long would you wait to have another baby, or start trying? What are the pros/cons of a big or small age difference? What are the ages/differences between your children?
