Can I install self-adhesive vinyl tiles in the walls of my bathtub?
I want to tile the bath tub, but ceramic is really expensive. Can I install self-adhesive vinyl tiles in the bathtub wall area using some other adhesive with the self-adhesive that is already on the tiles? I do not mean the walls of the bathroom, I mean right in where the shower will hit the surface of the walls.
Do you have a link?
Thanks
7 AnswersDecorating & Remodeling1 decade agoMortgage company changing the rules.?
I have had a mortgage for several years. It has been through three companies. It was in good standing and is still in good standing today.
Question: I have had 15 days, from the 1st to the 15th to get the payment to my mortgage company per my contract, but now I'm being told that not only will the mortgage company not accept a partial payment (cut the payment in 1/2 and pay it on the 1st and the middle) but now they're telling me that I have no 15 day grace from the 1st to the 15th.
The Mortgage companies have been the cause of so much trouble in this country, I even lost my job due to all the junk they played in the past decade. Now I am being told that I have to pay the entire amount due each month on the 1st.
Can a Mortgage company do that? Can they change the rules mid-stream? I thought contracts were supposed to be followed by both sides: me and the mortgage company, and that a partial payment needs to be accepted by the recipient. How can they just refuse a payment? Regardless of the size? Doesn't that mean they say the money is not due?
6 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoI have 2 web windows open. I am actively using one and then the other one pops up in front. No spyware on PC?
I can be actively working on something in a web page and all of a sudden another web page that I have open but am not looking at pops up and takes over as the primary page.
Is there a Microsoft fix for this? I'm using IE 8, but the same thing happened when I was on IE 7.
Thanks in advance for your help.

4 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoWhat is one thing you NEVER want your boss to say or do?
Looking for annoying things or unacceptable things that a boss has said or done that you think is stupid, unnecessary, or unreasonable.
No idea is too dumb. They're all valid complaints.
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment1 decade agoIs it allowed that a business can force a minimum purchase or charge made on a credit card?
This happens in restaurants and other stores to force the customer to buy more than they needed or wanted. It seems that way to me, anyway.
6 AnswersCredit1 decade agoWhat happens if I lose my job?
I am the breadwinner. I am the mortgage holder. I am the one responsible for all that happens in my family's finances. I have never ever been laid off from a job and I have no idea what I am supposed to do if that happens.
I live in Texas, so I bet I won't be unemployed long, but it is possible anyway.
Should I go crying to President Obama? Should I get my piece of the Socialist pie?
Now really, how does one go about getting unemployment benefits until they can get their next job? I've applied for about 20 with no bites yet, because so many are looking for jobs.
Sarcasm aside, does anyone have a tip or two on what I'm supposed to do if I lose my job?

I have the color palet and I am able to type in color in any field in Excel 2003, however whenever I tab, enter or click out of that field to do future input the color I put in the previous field disappears.
2 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoWindows XP: Logged in wrong profile. No way to change login name. What to do?
Windows XP Professional SP2.
Login looks like the little icons with the name, click and it asks for the password.
When person logs in, she usually gets administrator profile, somehow it changed to a different profile, and cannot see way to change.
When I say "switch user" and go back to the login screen, I only see the one login ID. How to change login view to include the windows administrator login choice?
2 AnswersUser Profiles1 decade agoIn Internet Explorer (6 and 7) I get redirected to http:///?
No, I am not typing too many slashes, I am not making a mistake. There is something in the IE settings that is causing any web site I put in the address bar to redirect to http:/// and never get to an internet page.
The internet is active, I can remote into the computer from another location, the emails update, they can see their network drives and Mozilla FireFox works to get to internet pages.
This is strictly an Internet Explorer issue. I removed IE7, tried IE6, same trouble, re-installed fresh IE7 with same problem. No spyware detected, no viruses detected. The computer has been rebooted and defrag'd. The problem is not a normal technical problem.
Any ideas?
2 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoDrive mappings in Windows XP sp2.?
When I map the drive using \\servername\path the permissions do not translate properly and the party's files show read only.
When I map the same drive using \\192.168.3.x\path the permissions translate, and the party is able to open and edit her files.
This only happens on a single computer, when I duplicate her ID and login on another PC and map the drives using \\server name\path, she can get right to her files without the read only.
2 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agoJust a thought. if each religion only believes in their own "god/God" then does that make them athiest also?
I mean, really. If a Christian says their God is the only one, and a Muslim says their "Allah" is the only true king of the heavens, and Jesus and Buddah are out there preaching different stuff, does that make a Christian, a Buddhist, a Jew, a Muslim, etc... a form of atheist because they cannot see past their own suppositions to acknowledge that maybe there is something else out there, whether a God, god, or science and no god?
I think that made sense.

I am not atheist, theist or any way at all. This just popped into my head, and I am wondering.
Thanks!
30 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWindows resource question, please?
Windows XP, SP2. Using either Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox I have the same trouble that the web pages do not completely load all the html format. For example, if there is supposed to be a colored background to an image, the color does not come through. Also, every block of text seems to be boxed in, instead of a nice flow of words.
This is a Windows problem, I believe. Anyone seen this and found a solution? Thanks!
1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoCalifornia is trying to legalize marijuana? What do you think?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/20090313/us_time/0859...
I think not only will it help them with their economic deficit, but it will also free up prisons of people who could potentially find their way out retro-actively, if the governor/legislature does things right.
This will save billions in prisoner care that they could be spending on other more sensible solutions to their problems.
23 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoI am so upset about this. What do they think they have to hide?

I mean really, if someone wants their church to be acknowledged and accepted, it is probably not the best idea to go around making all their "rituals" secret and mysterious.
I don't mean to "knock" the Mormon church, but why do they keep everything so closed up? It seems more cult-ish than religious this way.

Conservatives, that's who?
