  • Question about Clearblue Easy Digital HPT?

I've read a bit about this. If you pull apart the test, I've heard that many times, there are two blue lines, even if you are not pregnant, because they Clearblue Easy Digital also measures LH, which is why there might be two lines.

What about if you are on birth control (possibly missing a few pills during the middle of the cycle, and therefore are questioning if you are pregnant), if you got two lines on the Clearblue Easy Digital, would that be more of a signal that you ARE pregnant (even if it doesn't read 'pregnant'?) Doesn't birth control lower your LH? If you have no LH, the clearblue easy DIGITAL would have no LH to measure, so would 2 lines mean pregnant?

Please don't answer if you don't know about the clearblue easy digital. It's different than normal tests. Please don't tell me that two lines ALWAYS means pregnant, because for this test, that's not true.

  • Question about getting pregnant on birth control?

If you get pregnant while on (hormonal) birth control (say perhaps by missing some pills), could you still get your period even though you are pregnant? I ask because isn't the 'period' you get while on the pill a 'false period' anyway? So if you got pregnant, is there still a chance you'd get that 'false period?'

  • How do I transfer everything from Outlook on my old computer to my new one?

I have my email set up on the new one, but I need all my tasks, and all the emails that are still on my old Outlook. How do I migrate all of this?

  • How many days after you take out the Nuvaring do you get your period?

Just curious what it's like on average for you.. How many days later does is come?

I'm a bit late (I asked another question about this yesterday), but I don't want to test until I'm really late, that's why I'm asking how long it takes for you to get your period after you take it out.

  • I just posted a question about Nuvaring and Antibiotics.. What to do about my boyfriend?

I'd like to take a test to find out for sure whether or not I am.

I would like to just take and find out, but I think if I WAS pregnant, he'd be upset that he didn't find out with me.

On the other hand, if I include him and it IS negative, I'd feel bad for worrying him over nothing.

And just to be clear, we obviously weren't actively trying, but as we've being talking about marriage, and as we've discussed what would happen if we did accidentally get pregnant, we'd be ok with with being pregnant. Not the ideal time, but not upsetting, either.

  • Pregnancy while on Nuvaring? (Took antibiotics last month)?

I've been on the Nuvaring for at least 8 or 9 months now.

My last period was around February 24-27thish.

My doctor told me that when I take the Nuvaring, I can either put it in on the first and take it out on the 21st of the month, or put it in on the first and take it out on the 28th of the month.

In February, I took it until the 21st, and like I mentioned, I got my period around the 24th.

In March, I was sick with a kidney infection and was on antibiotic Cipro (pills) for nearly two weeks, March 6th through March 18th (as well as another antibiotics through an IV at the hospital on March 9th and 10th).

I've been feeling cramps since about th 27th-28th of March. I took out the Nuvaring on the 28th (should have done it on the 21st since I did it on the 21st of last month).

Today is April second, and I still do not have a period. I feel like my breasts are huge, but I'm not sure if it's anything, and i have really bad PMS type cramps, which I usually don't get at all.

    Thoughts?

  • Home Pregnancy Test Question?

I've been pregnant and had a child in the past; that was almost 4 years ago.

I'm not late yet.. about a day early, but I just FEEL like I could be pregnant, so on a hunch, I bought some tests. I tested once yesterday morning, and I swear it looks like a VERY faint positive. Then I tested in the afternoon and got neg. I tested again late this morning (not first morning urine), and got a negative. I'm on day 30 of my cycle, and usually run 28-30 days. I don't knw when I ovulated. Any thoughts?

  • Where do I enter my 1098-T in my TaxCut Program?

1098-T is a Tuition Statement from some college courses I paid for for myself. I see a place to enter a 1098-E (interest on student loans), but I can't find any place for my 1098-T. Is this just for myself to see how much tuition I paid, to decide whether to take the tuition & fees deduction, or education credits? (Massachusetts, though I think this is a federal thing.)

    Thanks

  • Does anyone know a reputable place in Massachusetts where I can donate used toys?

I have searched high and low on the internet, and I'm having a tough time finding a place that I can donate good used toys in Massachusetts (specifically southeastern MA.) I found Toys For Tots, but I can't find information for my area of MA. I'm sure some organization out there can use them.

    Thanks for the help.

  • I don't understand why people call others "hun".?

I think if you're a 60 year old waitress or someone elderly, it wouldn't offend me if they called me "hun." I think the only other exception to this that would be ok is calling children under 12 "hun".

But it's really starting to bother me when I go to Dunkin Donuts in the morning to get my coffee, and my 18 year old server (and not just one, several of them, who I'm clearly older than) feel the need to call me "hun."

How can I help you, hun? Here you go, hun.

It really bothers me. Why do they do this? It just seems kind of condescending.

  • Could I be pregnant?

This is so silly. I'm a mother of one, I've already had a baby, yet I don't know if I could be pregnant.

I've been on the Ortho Evra Patch for 2 1/2 years now. I was supposed to have my period three weeks ago, but never got it. Then, for the past two weeks, I have been spotting. It's not bright red blood, it's dark blood. And it's not a lot, but enough that I have to wear a pad.

I've never spotted on the patch, and my periods have always been regular.

I did call the doctor, and she wants me to come in and have a blood pregnancy test done.

I can't imagine I could be pregnant though, could I? I've always used tha patch as directed.

  • What is the policy at your child's school regarding cold weather?

A previous poster asked if it was ok to send their child to school with long pants and a SHORT sleeved shirt if the temperature was over 45 degrees.

And most people responded YES, it is ok.

I work in a school, and I will tell you, check your school's policy. Our policy is that they need a jacket or sweatshirt if it is under 60 degrees.

    45 degrees is too cold.

    What do you think?

  • Has anyone here ever had a Uterine Inversion?

Has anyone had a uterine inversion immediately after giving birth? I did a few years back. They told me it was extremely rare, and it actually nearly killed me. Some medical books I've read say it can be a naturally occuring phenomenon, or the doctor's fault. The doctors can't seem to give me much info, but I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else, what you're treatment/outcome was, if you nearly died as well, if you sued your doctor, and if you were able to have more children without any problem. Please only respond if you know what I'm talking about; i.e. you've had one, or someone you know, etc.

Thanks so much for your input.

  • How do you prepare for someone's death?

I just found out that a relative of mine has cancer, and will die. I have not had a relative die since I was a child, and though I knew this day would one happen, I am feeling really lost and confused. Now as an adult, married with a child, I'm facing the fact that people around me will die. And I just want to know how to prepare? How should I feel? Please, no religious answers (i.e., God will lead you, etc). Real life answers only.
