Hey! There is a mysterious Red Dwarf audio (or two?) that I am looking for... I heard it about 5 years ago, but have not been able to find it since.

It was read by Chris Barry, and started off with Kryten and some little mini Kryten nano-bots. I remember that because C.B. did such an amazing job doing an impersonation of an impersonation.

The other one I'm looking for (or possibly it's the same one!) had Rimmer meeting his son, and his son ends up getting shot. It's not "Last Human" where Rimmer meets his son, and then sacrifices himself by flying his light bee into a rage storm. I love how many conflicting stories there are.

I looked up a list that was supposed to be all the Red Dwarf audio books and radio shows, and according to the list I have them all. So I've no idea what these were that I heard.

Does anyone happen to recognise them??

My first DSLR was a Nikon D3000 and I remember being really disappointed with it, especially the image quality, and it wasn't until I upgraded to the 5100 that I was really happy.

My parents are now asking me for advice on what camera to get, and they want to know about that particular Canon, but I know nothing about Canons... but I think the Rebel T3 is an entry level pretty much equivalent to Nikon's D3000, is that right? Do you think they will be disappointed with their purchase if they get it?

As a bit of background, I think my parents have been using the same 5MP point-and-shoot for the last 7 years now... but I also think they will be expecting National Geographic, art gallery quality photographs from whichever DSLR they buy...

Okay, I may as well get into the whole situation.

They're using Airmiles rewards to get something from the Airmiles website, and with the points they have they can get either:

the Rebel T3

plus Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens (which my dad wants)

plus CANON EF 50mm f/1.8 II Telephoto Lens (which I am trying hard to convince him to get)

OR they could get

the EOS Rebel T3i

and just one of those lenses.

My husband thinks the T3i is going to have just the same image quality as the T3, the only difference is the megapixels.

So! Thoughts?

I changed my furnace filter after three months of a harsh Canadian winter, and it is still perfectly pristine... completely white and not a speck of dust. The next filter after that was the same way. What's going on here?

I have found a few online grocery stores that deliver, but so far they have all been available only in Ontario...

I've got just under two months to go, but seriously, I have no idea what I need to have in advance before he is born! There are things I can worry about getting later, but I know that I need:

A carseat

A bassinet (or some other place for him to sleep)

Some diapers I assume

That's all I can think of. O_o What else is a necessity to have from day one??

According to the ultrasound and all of his movements that I can feel, my baby is way over on the right side of my body, almost right over my right hip. I'm not sure if it's his head or his feet that are there, but the other half of him seems to be going down to the middle of my pelvis area.

Anyway, I sleep almost exclusively on my left side, but every now and then it is just too uncomfortable and I have to lay on my right for a bit.

I never thought this would be any kind of issue, but for the last week or so (I am just at 25 weeks now) any time I lay on right side, he moves a LOT. It's almost like he doesn't stop moving until I go back to my other side.

I never would have thought laying on my right would be a problem for him, because it's not like I'm squishing my belly or anything, yet I can't think of any other reason he'd become so active...

Does anyone know for sure? Thank you!

My parents are worried about my husband and I going through some mountain areas on our way to Arizona. They say there are portions of this road that get very stormy in winter and where they do not let you pass if you do not have chains on your tires.

Is it true? Are there passes like these, and are they still a problem this time of year?

I'm 20 weeks pregnant now, and just at the point where I will soon need to choose what I am going to do for delivery day...

A friend of mine has had 2 kids; the first with a doctor, the second with a midwife, and she can't stop telling me how tremendous the difference between the two was... her experience with the doctor, and then the nurses, was very, very poor, but everything about the midwife was very good.

I'm just wondering if she had two unique experiences, or if there really is that much of a difference...

So, if you have used both, WHICH would you recommend??

I'm maybe 10 weeks, we don't know for sure, but I haven't had the first ultrasound yet, the 12-week one where they see if the baby is even healthy or normal.

By the time I do have that ultrasound in mid-January, all of my family (parents and sister) will be out of the country and won't be back till at least April. So I'd basically have to tell them over the phone.

But since everyone is going to be here for Christmas, it seems like the perfect time.

Is it too early, or not??

Please, one that does *not* follow the patter of "choose a class, perform quests, get rewards, perform more quests, blah, blah, blah..." (And honestly, even the classes are all the same... Knight, Warrior, Ranger Thief, Mage, Priest... they can't even come up with something different there... U_U )

Anyways, I have recently been playing Spiral Knights; it is pretty fun and does not follow the cookie-cutter pattern. Of course, the BEST online game ever was GoPets, a wholly unique game, but sadly they have closed down. T_T

I have browsed dozens of MMOs tonight, and they ALL simply follow the pattern of "choose from these unoriginal classes; perform quests." It's so disheartening...

What games are out there that are fun, and not copies of every other game??

Trying to design a package...

Who's been to the Phoenix Comicon before? I'm wondering about cosplay ideas, and what kind of cosplay there is there... cause it's called Comicon, but it seems to me more like a Sci-Fi/Otaku Con. In videos and pictures I've seen people dressed up as almost anything, but I wonder - I'm thinking of doing a Steampunk Lolita, and I just wonder if it would be too out of place and weird there or not.

So I have Netflix in Canada, and while searching through it I always come across so many that they *appear* to have, but it says "unavailable". Are these titles:

1. that are available in the USA, but not here?

2. that Netflix is working on getting?

3. that we'll be able to get after our free trial is over?

4. not available to anyone and Netflix is just taunting us?
