My ex and I have joint custody of our 3 children. The children live with her. She time and time again has made bad decisions on where they live. First she had them living in a building where the conditions were unsafe. A year after they moved out the bulding burned down and 7 people were killed. I fought hard in court to get her to move them out and thank God they were not there anymore when the tragedy happened. She moved them back to one of the worst gang infested areas in Chicago. There is custantly shootings and murders around there. Just last night there were two shooting there,on fatal just 3 blocks way from there apartment. I want to persue this and get them our of there asap. Can this be grounds for me to at least get them until there mother moves to a better place? (I have my own place in the suburbs with plenty of room for them where the worst police problem we have is parking out in the streets during street sweeping)

they have been working on my car at my works parking lot and the police put an abandoned car sticker on it...i went to the police and they said its fine that they will not tow it..but just yesterday they did...the president of the company said there was no problem keeping the car there in the first place..what can I do?

I have a 95 pontiac bonneville sse. Yesterday it stalled while i was driving and I was not able to get it started. An hour later it started back up and stalled again after 10 minuts of driving. Today again it started right up and stalled after about 15. When it stalls it wont start again for at least an hour or two. When it stalls its exactly like when it stalls when the gas tank is empy. It checks then my lights blink and then it goes out. Any suggestions on what to check?

My ex took my son to get an asessment done on him by a psychiatrist and she said hes showing signs or depression and wants to put him on prozac. I am 100 percent against this. I have been trying to get there mother to cooperate with me in getting my son and his 2 other brothers therapy or counseling. We split 4 years ago and this has never been accomplished. I am trying to get his mother again to cooperate but wants to put him on prozac.Can anyone give any suggestions on if this is normal or what can I do to stop him from taking prozac.

My ex told me she is the only one that can claim them,by law. There is a agreement about visitation and child support through the court but it does not say anything about claiming the kids on taxes. I was told by my accountant that there is not a law and I have rights as the parent paying child support.Is this true? Did my ex lie to me?I live in Illinois helps...

Ludacris and I are the same age and grew up minutes away...He went to a high school in the suburb north of me outside of chicago. I know he went to live in georgia when he was older but never does he mention growing up in illinois...you would think he has lived in atlanta all his lofe but truth is after he cut his first album he had only been there for a few years,,,,

I recently replaced the heater hose valve on my 95 pontiac bonneville sse.It had broken will driving.after i replaced it i refilled it with antifreeze/coolant.although im not really having a problem with it overheating what happens is the temp. guage goes all the way to the redzone then drops to about 200 and every so often ill get the low coolant light on even though its filled all the way up. Car doesnt overheat.Could the thermostat be bad or does it sound like a pump problem?Before the temperature guage would maintain at 200.now it just fluctuates and goes down.Any ideas?

the head gasket was replaced not too long ago,but my guage for the oil keeps telling me it need some even though i just put in 2 quarts.how much iol does a v6 engine take?

I had a friend that was on the adkins diet and lost a tremendous amount of weight so I decided to try it a few weeks ago. I was told there are clean burning carbs that i can eat. I thought is was ok to eat wheat porducts. If so that means I can have wheat bread,wheat pasta,and wheat cereal. Im just comfused because when i look at the carbs on these things they seem high...can anyone tell me if there ok for my diet?

last year i left my job in sales after a dispute with the president of a small distributor. He had gotten paranoid months prior to this because he thought i was looking elswhere for a job and was to leave the company. He thought i was going to go with the competitor and take some of the clients with me. It was far from the truth though i did gorw very unhappy witht the company. after we parted ways he aproached a former employee that had quit for the same reason i did and asked him to come back.his pitch for him to come back was.."now that we fired so and so(me)why dont you come back to the company"..for some reason he thought my other coworker left because of me which was untrue too. the ex coworker called and tol me what had happend and i was mad .i felt in a way he was slandering me. Recently i got a job offer from another company the does business with my past employer.

i just started a new job today in sales for a distributor. the oddest thing happened to me on my first day. I was told that two ex colleages of mine were hired too. I was asked about what i thought about them and i told my new boss that my ex colleages were great guys to work with and said other positive things about them. I was bothered though at the fact that one i knew for a fact had a alcohol problem that led him to be terminated from our previous employer.i didnt know if i should say something to my boss,after all i didnt want my boss possibly later on questioning my opinion if my former colleage ended up still being a drunk. I went to a coworker and ask how to approach my new boss about it and he said dont worry about it and just talk to him. he offered to share the info with my boss if i was reluctant and i said go ahead. Well my boss called me later and accussed me of lying to his face about my former colleage.he said i should have told him when he asked me about his problem,

I been working in sales and marketing for the past ten years,specifially in the heating ventilation and air conditioning industry. I have always gotten a set salary plus quarterly bonuses in my previous companies. I recently got recruited by a contractor to do outside sales for the company. The way my pay will work is im going to get a base salary plus commision on my accounts the i establish and jobs i sell. I never worked on commission and a base salary and have no idea what the bas salary should be. On friday me made a suggestion waht the base salary should be. It was kinda insulting. It was about 5 times less then my salary at my other job. Any suggesting on what a base salary should be?

i get my regular taxes direct deposited,so does that mean this check is going to be direct deposited?was i supposed to let thme know to direct deposit my stimulus check?

I have three boys,ages 5,7,and 9, and they hate going back to there mothers house after our visits. They tell me that there moms b/f phisically diciplines them to punish them.I havents seen any bruising but they throw a fit when they have to go back.my attorny is asigning a court guardian to talk to them about there situation at home. Can i do anything now while our custody situation is settled in court?i tried talking to the mother but she says she oks him to do it.I dont.what can i do?

Im 29 and recently decided to move back in with my parents temporarly. I decided to do do after they offered me a place to stay while I make a serious financial commitement to paying my attorney in my child custody case.Im fighting for my 3 kids in court to get them out of a seriously bad situation where they at with there mother.Currently I do not have a set income as i just started my own Heating and Cooling business in november. Its been going good but i am entering a slow season here in illinois where i might just have to live off of savings. also to top it off my vehicle recently got totaled so i have to worry about getting a new car. My girlfriend is pretty upset about me moving back because she feels that i might get too comfortable leaving at home and i might not commit to getting married to her later. Also she would spend alot of time at my place to do job searches on my computer while i was working.She feels when i move back she wont see me as much.what can i do?

I am a father of three small boys who live with there mother. Currently we are going to court to determine custody. I am trying to fight for custody because i feel my children are not in a good enviroment living with there mother and i worry about them. Recently my oldest and middle sons have been telling me that they do now want to go back with there mother after our weekends together because there mother makes them sleep alone in the attic. I know for a fact that the house that they live in has 3 bedrooms on the main floor and there is no need for them to be put up there. Not only that but the heating gas furnace is up there in the attic. Im afraid my youngest son is going to have health problems because of this because he has ashma.Am i right in worrying or am i overreacting?Does anyone know if its againt the law to have small children sleeping in the same room as a gas appliance?Should i call dcfs?

I have 3 children and live in the suburbs. My children were in a parochial school in my town and were pulled out of the school by there mother whom also lives in the same town. She put them in a school in a bad part of the city because its more convenient for her. Is that allowed? If not how would i go about letting the school know my kids are residents of Chicago?

I been fighting for custody for my three children for about a year now. Even though there mother is very unfit,she has temporary custody of them.She currently is facing charges for indenty theft. There is a strong possiblity she will in incarcerated. If she is will i get custody of them automatically?
