My car got hit while parked. Can I claim insurance?
I have comprehensive coverage. One day I went out to the parking deck and someone dented my bumper in overnight. No note was left.
My friend said I can call State Farm and file a claim and get money back for this "hit and run". Is this true? If so what do I need to do?

I listed an item for "buy it now" on Ebay and in the listing I mentioned that "bidding from contiguous 48 states only."
Today a bidder from Venezuela bought my item! I don't want to sell it to him and I don't want to ship my item there. What can I do to null and void this without getting negative feedback, etc?
Thanks for the help!

A family member of mine is moving out of the country. He owes various doctors and hospitals here about 3000 dollars. If he doesn't come back to the USA does that mean he'll get away from the bills?
2 AnswersPersonal Finance1 decade agoI just bought a house. How do I switch the bills to my name?
I just bought a house from a family member. Right now all the bills (telephone, TV, power, etc) are all in his name.
Do I just call the bill companies and tell them that the house is not in my name? Would my family member have to pay off his bills before I can change everything to my name?
Thanks!
2 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoClosing on house while bringing no money to table?
Can that happen?
I'm buying a house and I'm supposed to be taking about 25k to closing tomorrow. But I cannot consolidate my funds into my checking account fast enough. My lender said I can still close tomorrow and just pay sometime next week.
Is there a possibility that the lawyers won't let me close since I'm bringing nothing to the table? The lender said this won't happen but I'm worried. Anyone ever heard of ppl closing and paying later?

Deed book (blank)"
Where can I find this deed book? I have no idea how to find this info. Also, how do you know how much property taxes someone paid in 2008?

3 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoI have two old series EE bonds? How to cash?
My grandpa just handed me two $1000 series EE bonds that were bought by my grandmother in July 1987. He asked me to cash it for him so he can use the money.
The bond has my grandma's and my aunt's name on it. The thing is, my grandma, aunt, and my aunt's husband are all deceased. And my grandpa has remarried.
What do I need to do to cash this? Do I just go to a bank? Thanks for the help!

1 AnswerSingles & Dating1 decade agoHow do you let go of everything in your past?
With every passing month/year, I get sadder and sadder as things fall into my past - lost friends, family members who died, moving from familiar places, a sweetheart that broke my heart...
I feel like as more time goes by I carry on more and more baggage from my past and I can't let go of. I constantly reminisce of better times and lost people/things
I regret a lot of things in my past and fear the future. I know loss is a natural part of life, but I can't come to grips with lots of it. Any ideas as to how to be happy and not let those things get to me?
