I want to make real papyrus paper, but I am having difficulty finding a place that will sell the reeds. Does anyone know where I can purchase them?

If I have, for example, 100 virtual machines (using VMWare) all running the same OS and I need to install patches, is there a tool/utility that can run the patch install across all the virtual machines? On the same note, if I have a script that configures something and I need it run across all the VMs, is there a utility that can distribute and run the script across the VMs?

I am running Fedora Linux on my desktop. I am writing a program in C and I need to call a CLIPS program. I have the CLIPS programming guide and have tried the examples there. Unfortunately, failure after failure. It looks like the compile (not the link) is failing. The compiler cannot find definitions for Load(), Clear(), Run(), and Reset(). Does anyone know how to make this call?

Several years ago (>10) I saw a cartoon on cable about Halloween. There were a bunch of kids in it and some "person" appeared and basically taught the kids about the origins or Halloween. They visited several countries, such as Mexico (Day of the Dead).

I have a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis that needs a new alternator. Does anyone know where I can find instructions on how to replace the alternator?

I have a Canon Digital Rebel Xti 10.1 Mpixel camera with the standard 18-55mm lens. I want to buy a Tiffen lens kit. I thought I should buy a 55mm lens kit; however, I purchased this camera through NewEgg; they try to get you to purchase a lens kit with the camera. The only thing is, they are offering up a 77mm lens kit. So, now I'm confused. What gives?

I have a 10.1 megapixel Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I want to get a polarizing filter for it; however, at the camera store they have two that they are offering.

One filter is reasonably priced at around $40. The second filter that they are pushing is one they say is made specifically for a digital camera. That is, the filter is of a higher quality. It costs $80.

So, my question is, is there a particular brand or quality that I should be looking for in a polarizing filter? If so, what? What are some good quality filters?

I was a big user of MusicMatch. I purchased quite a bit of music from them. The one thing that I liked about MusicMatch was that I could always get a list of the songs that I purchased. Those were the songs that I listened to the most.

Well, Yahoo went ahead and purchased MusicMatch and ruined it. It appears that I can no longer get a list of the songs I've purchased. Does anyone know if I can get a list of purchased songs and if so, how do I do it?

I posted a question basically asking who liked these pictures (on a website) of mohammed. They were not vulgar. Many were probably what appeared in the papers. It was banned. I wanted to know who actually liked them.

Have we gotten so SENSITIVE that we have to be careful not to hurt anyone's feelings on the da***ed web?

I am looking for a good genealogy software package that will run on Microsoft Windows XP. I've used Family Tree Maker in the past; however, you never know if you have the latest version. It seems that they come out with a new version practically once per month.

Please keep price, quality, and ease of use in mind when giving a recommendation.

Also, I would like to store a photograph or two (at least) of the person, scans of paperwork regarding the person, and maybe even a voice recording if possible.
