  • Support group for spouses of people with mental illness in Spokane, WA?

I am so very tired and need some help. My husband is probably bi-polar and possibly schizophrenic and he swirls drama and chaos around him like a cloak. I don't know what to do anymore. He is completely in denial and blames me for everything. I had the best day in a long time yesterday. I spoke with a counselor on my own and she really helped me and I was in a great mood and then I came home. Two weeks ago he put a gun to his chest and threatened to kill himself because I wouldn't let him get a puppy. Last night he informed me that he is flying to VA and adopting a dog and it's not open for discussion and now he's gone to VA. How is he supposed to take care of dog when he can't take care of himself? Every time I think I can be happy, something else happens in our life to yank the rug out from under me. He is in complete denial that something is wrong even though his mother, his best friend, his brother-in-law and his wife have asked him what's wrong. Thank you for listening and any help you can give me.

  • Do you think it's possible to develop 5 cavities in 9 months?

I just moved and I went to a new dentist today and she said I have 5 cavities that need to be filled. In 40 years I had a total of 5 cavities now all of a sudden I have 5 new cavities. My husband hasn't had a cavity in over 25 years and she told him that he has 4. All of our other dentists have said that we have great teeth. We both saw our old dentist about 9 months ago and he never mentioned a word to either of us that we would be needing fillings in the future. So, do you think it's possible to develop 5 cavities in 9 months? Thanks.

  • Can you make any recommendations regarding my cover letter?

    Dear Hiring Partner:

I recently relocated to the Spokane area and am looking for full time employment. I would like to get back into intellectual property and Timberline sounds like the perfect opportunity. You will see from my resume, copy enclosed, that I have ten years experience in IP. Also enclosed are two letters of recommendation, a memorandum of commendation, and a copy of my office skills test results for the Spokane Public Schools. Confidentiality is of the utmost concern to me and I always use a high level of discretion when dealing with highly sensitive information. I am respectful, courteous, friendly and a team player. I also take the initiative to meet work objectives.

Timberline would benefit from my proficiency with Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. While at Volpe and Koenig, P.C. I instructed coworkers in the use of Word Perfect until we switched to Word. We also used Adobe Acrobat for PTO forms. I started at V&K as a floater secretary and I am very comfortable in that role. I have also worked with specific attorneys for long periods of time and am also comfortable in that role. I can work with Microsoft Excel and am willing to learn any new skills or software needed. While at the Piedmont Family YMCA I learned Access and Trinexum and proceeded to manage a database of over 5000 records. I am well versed in all office machines, including a Dictaphone.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my resume. I would like to bring my creativity and 15+ years of secretarial experience to the Timberline Patent Law Group PLLC. I welcome any opportunity to speak with you. Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions.

    Sincerely,

  • Does anyone know how to remove Onstar from a 2010 RS SS Camaro?

I don't just want to have it turned off by Onstar. I don't care if it's free, I want it completely disabled, so that Onstar is not able to access it at all. Any help is much appreciated.

  • Should I drop off or mail my resume to a firm that is NOT advertising any jobs?

I have relocated to Spokane, WA. I found the perfect law firm that I would like to work for. However, they are not currently advertising any positions. I have specialized experience that is relevant to them, so I am going to send a cover letter and resume. Should I drop it off or mail it in? Thanks,

  • How do you tell the difference between mental illness and something physical like a tumor?

My husband has changed his personality in a very radical way over the last 18 months or so. My therapist thinks he might be bipolar, the family doctor thinks he might be schizophrenic, his best friend is concerned that he has a tumor or brain cancer, another friend asked me if he had been brainwashed, my brother wants to know what's wrong with him too.

He doesn't seem to have any physical symptoms. He complains about headaches sometimes, but not often. He says that he sees orbs. I don't see anything when he does. He won't seek any professional help because he says it's all in my head. He believes some very radical theories about aliens and the end of the world. He believes that Stargate and V and 2012 are real, not just movies.

So how do you know if it's something physical or if it's a mental illness? Thanks,

  • Why do they put the ring on the index finger in Jewish weddings?

I've been watching Say Yes To The Dress and there have been a couple of Jewish weddings and I noticed that they place the rings on the index fingers but I've never seen anyone walking around with an engagement ring and wedding band on their index finger. When do the rings get moved to the ring finger?

  • What Verizon phone has the longest battery life?

All I use my phone for is talking to people, so the only thing I care about in my phone is long battery life. I never ever text, so a keyboard isn't important. I only take pictures of my dog and I have a 8 megapixel camera for that, so I don't need a great camera in my phone. Can someone recommend a Verizon phone for me? Thanks,

  • If you stop taking vitamins suddenly, can that lead to bruising?

I stopped taking - fish oil, curcumin, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, and prenatal vitamins. I'm covered in bruises I don't remember getting, which means they came from someting pretty inconsequential, like playing with the dog. Is this normal? Thanks,

  • When can you take a test?

We had sex on Sunday. I had spotting on Wednesday, full period on Thursday and tapered off today. This is right time for my period but it usually lasts longer. Do you think it's likely that I could be pregnant and when should I take a test? Thanks,
