i am looking for a bible or any sort of study aid that will help explain the bible. i am also looking for a good study aid where i can have passages that refer to life's daily struggles. i have a basic knowledge of the bible and am looking to broaden that knowledge. i need it to be compact and easy to carry about.

i just find it a little disturbing that (and i know since he was elected by the american public he has every right to speak for that same public) when bush speaks at this little tour thing that he puts it in such terms...."the american public sees fit to send back-up troops to iraq". now that is not the direct qoute but it is the jest of it. why does he not just say the he sees fit to send in more troops instead of pawning his decisions off on the general population? some people may want to send in more troops but however to see the polls and listening ot the public, many do not. these comments by our elected president are just one reason why some many countries do not like americans in general. anyone else agree?

my son keeps a stopped up nose and chest congestion during the winter months. the worst times is during the night and when he stays inside for long periods of time. i have electric heat and have been told to get a humidyfier. which one do i need a cool mist or a warm mist? and do i need to put it in the room with him at night of in a central location in the house?

does anyone know if there are any sites that allow you to list symptoms that you are having and it will give you a list of what it sounds like you have. i have tried webmd with no luck. i have some herditary disorders that i'm curious if they may be causing my problems. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

i'm looking to purchase. does anyone own a vision M that could answer a few questions. is it easy to operate? does it work with just a stereo in the car (with the adapter) or do you need to have a cd player in the car? how is the clarity of the voice recorder, say for recording college lectures? music quality? really anything you can tell me would be a help. thanks.......

i have a question about rights. there is yet another school in the news with a problem of some students not wanting to say the pledge of alligence, so now they are going to stop doing so. well my concern is what about the rights of the students that want to say the pledge, or want to see the ten commandments hanging on the wall, or want to say prayer before a graduation service. who is protecting their rights? and why is that this is trickling down to even the smaller things such as my son's preschool class where they can still have parties for let's say halloween, however all the party snacks must be fat free, or good for you. now what about my rights as a parent to want my child to attend a public school and have a good old fashioned cup cake at a party? do certain people's beliefs count more than others? and why should other people's beliefs be forced on some? why can't we have these things but those who don't wish to participate does not have to? just wondering?

out of the silly violation notices you get. when you complain about someone's answer or question does that person automatically get a violation notice or does yahoo actually pay people to read those complaints and sit and mull over whether or not they are in violation, then send you an e-mail ststing your response has been deleted...(oh no not deleted)....i just responded to how ignorant someone's else's response was just hoping to stop someone from taking that advice and i got a "violation". if there is such a job as "violation patrol" i need an application.

when i turn my computer on after windows screen goes away and my wallpaper pops up a black box comes up. it looks like a program is getting ready to run but instead it says program to big for memory after a few seconds it goes away. i have not tried to install anything. i have tried clicking on the "x" in the upper right hand corner but it comes back next time i turn on my computer. it does not stay up long enough to click on anything else.

any nurses here that can share some tips on surviving nursing school. i'm raising a four year old, working full time and carrying a full college load. i'm in my second sememster of a two year degree and need some tips on dealing.

don't know the actors but the movie starts out oversees with two guys having fun. one is an enviromentalist and the other finally decides to go back to states to go to college. after he leaves they raid their house and get the other guy for a stash of hash. he goes to prison. they find the other guy (now a lawyer) and he has to go back and claim his part of the hash in order to save his friend's life. however he now has a family and knowing he will go to prison too he tries to break him out instead.....maybe around 14 to 15 year old movie.
