  • We have heard of Christian Apologists, why don't we need Atheist Apologists?

Why is it that Christians are so insecure in their belief that they have to argue FOR the existence of god, jesus etc.? Atheists have it made apparently, just having to say, "Prove it."

  • Why have people invented gods? Are you almost an atheist?

If you don't believe in zeus, or any of the other pantheon, you're just one god away from being an atheist like me. Look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polytheism to see how many gods have been invented along the way. What makes Mohammed's story or the story of Jesus any more real than this pantheon? A book written years after the fact? Sorry, I don't buy that. http://www.godisimaginary.com/ makes too much sense to me to buy in to this religious stuff any more than Thor, or the others.

  • Can someone explain how after Killing Hatians they still believe in God?

The Hatian people talk of being "blessed" by not being dead. If god was omnipotent why did he let any die? If he is not omnipotent why call him god? God seems to really hate humans from all I can find. http://www.godisimaginary.com/ answers a lot of my questions for darn sure.

  • If god knows "the hour of your death" and babies die of abortion, isn't that part of Godswill?

Rick Warren, (purpose driven life) says that God plans every minute of your life. If that is true, there is no free will, and every abortion is planned by god? No?

  • Why is it that when I mention http://www.thereligionofpeace.com my question gets reported?

Mohammedans do not like to read the truth apparently and report questioners who ask things about their practices.

  • Is anyone else offended by TBN claims of miracles?

on 9-11? If Gawduh really existed, why did so many die, for a few "miracles" to survive. Why didn't Gawduh (that's how the Televangelists say it) just stop the frikkin plane from hitting the towers in the first place. I've written to the trinity broadcasting network and they don't answer their email. Their special on 9 11 was an insult to all those who died, as if somehow Gawduh didn't like them enough to spare them burning to death, falling to death, or being crushed to death, while one or two survived due to the randomness of chance.

  • What other names do Mohammedans have for their prophet?

Mohammed, Mahamet, Ahmed, Amadou, Hamdu, Mohamet, Mamoud, Hamdi, are a few.

Mohammedans don't like to be called Mohammedans — that smacks too much of terms such as Christians. As everybody knows, Christians worship Christ as a god. Mohammedans don't want people to think they worship Mohammed (Arabic, Muhammad A - 'Praiseworthy'), and so dislike referring to their religion as Mohammedanism. However, Confucians don't worship Confucius (Chinese, K'ung Fu-tsu — 'K'ung [a family name] the Grand Master'), even though their system is calledConfucianism and often is considered to be a religion. Even so, Mohammedans don't want Mohammed to be viewed as a parallel of the Christ of the Christians.

  • Why do the Mohammedans have to say PBUH after they say Mahamet?

Like would Mo be offended if someone mentioned his name without praising him? Is he conceited or what? I know that the Mohammedans don't like the term, but according to Wikipedia it is a perfectly acceptable name for followers of Muhemat.

  • How do you answer Epicurus' riddle?

Over 250 years before the alleged (yet unprovable) life of Jesus, Epicurus wrote the following riddle. What do you make of it? How do you answer the riddle? Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then He is not omnipotent. Is He able, but not willing? Then He is malevolent. Is He both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is He neither able nor willing? Then why call Him God?

    Epicurus (c. 341 - c. 270 BC)

Why is god so bashful these days, hardly ever makes public appearances except in stains on rocks, knots on trees, and other such nonsense.

  • Do Mohammedans at YOUR workplace get special time off? If you're an atheist, do you get any?

Mohammedans in workplaces, after they sign contracts for working hours, then demand special concessions to their "holy rituals" and scream bloody abuse if they don't get it. These same guys smoke, drink, and get girls pregnant when they're not being holy. Does this seem fair?

SALT LAKE CITY – Paleontologists say a 75-million-year-old turtle fossil uncovered in southern Utah has a clutch of eggs inside, making it the first prehistoric pregnant turtle found in the United States.

At least three eggs are visible from the outside of the fossil, and Montana State University researchers this week have been studying images taken from a CT scan in search of others inside.

Montana State graduate student Michael Knell says the turtle was probably about a week from laying her eggs when she died and became entombed for millions of years in sandstone.

The fossil was found in 2006 in a remote part of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The eggs weren't discovered until after it sat in storage for two years and was being re-examined by a volunteer.

  • Have followers of the so called "Jesus" given up their posessions?

Jesus made a number of very clear statements about money and wealth in the Bible. For example:

    Matthew 6:19

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

    Luke 14:33

Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.

    Matthew 6:24

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Money.

    Matthew 19:21-24

Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

    Matthew 19:28-29

Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

    Luke 9:23-25

Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?

    Matt 13: 22

The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful.

    Hebrews 13:5

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

    Phil 2:3

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

    Acts 2:44-45

All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.

The message is clear. If you want to follow Jesus, you need to "sell your possessions and give to the poor." It is a very simple message, and easy to do. Have you done it? The fact that you are reading this page would indicate that you have not. Chances are you own a computer, pay for an Internet connection every month, live in a home or apartment, have a car, etc. In other words, you live a life at a level of wealth unimaginable in Jesus' time. Meanwhile, billions of people on the planet live in startling, abject poverty.

Why don't you sell everything and follow Jesus, as he requests in the Bible? The reason is simple: Jesus and God are imaginary, and you know it. If Jesus were real, you would do what he says.

  • Why do the followers of LDS continue to defend things proven to be lies?

How about the discovery of the Rosetta Stone, and the true meanings of the scrolls that J.Smith called the Book of Abraham? What's with these people? Magic Goggles to see things? Seer stones? Prophets? (Why was the LDS chief prophet/president get fooled with forgeries?) etc. etc.

  • Should we bail out flood victims more than one time?

Ok, so if you moved into a house and didn't know it was on a flood plain, let's pay your loss and MOVE you away from the flood plain. It is foolish to continue doing the same thing in same circumstances and expect different results.

  • Who does the pope think he is kidding with his "help the poor" in Africa stance?

The catholic stance on birth control continues to keep poor people poor, and the report as follows:

Benedict said that while the Catholic church in Africa is the fastest growing in the world, it faces competition from increasingly popular evangelical movements and "the growing influence of superstitious forms of religion."

The German-born pope also said that the exuberant local African rites should not "obstruct" the liturgy of the Mass.

And he spoke of the needs of the poor.

is a joke. The superstitions promoted by Christianity are scarier than any AFRICAN religion! At least they don't threaten with eternal damnation those who fail to believe.
