It just occurred to me this morning that my running martingale is missing. I didn't notice it right away because I don't use it all the time and lately I've just been trail riding western. I saw one of the boarders in the schooling ring with a running martingale on a horse she usually doesn't ride one in. Guess what...I think its mine. I can't be sure without looking at it. Mine has a distinguishing mark on it from when an old horse of mine tried to chew it. I want to confront her without confrontation. How can I do this without making a fool out of myself if its not mine?

The rug is wool oriental area rug about 8' x 10' that has developed a curled edge down the long side in the center of the edge. How can I get it to lay flat again? This is fairly recent within the last 2 months. Thank you for any help.

I am a novice gardener and need some suggestions for easy care annuals for zone six. I have a mix of mostly sun to shade. In the past I had some success with impatiens but would like more color and interest and things deer don't eat. Thank for any help.

I keep my tack at home and only take to the barn what I am currently using. The rest of my tack (5 saddles and assorted headstalls/reins/breast collars etc) are is stored in my finished basement. My basement is dry, but my tack always seems cool/dampish to the touch.

I know most of you will probably say, buy a dehumidifier, but that's not something I can do right now.

I have my saddles covered over with cotton sheets to keep any dust and dirt off and hopefully absorb moisture.

I try to wash and dry the sheets on a regular basis so that they are as clean as possible. Now with the spring rains, everything down there seems damper than usual.

Any thoughts on this? I just don't have anywhere else to put them.

I found it in the $5 clearance consignment bin at my local tack shop.

Its a Mullen mouth with rolling/sliding dowels and it appears to be handmade. No makers mark. Thoughts?

What is proper etiquette when hosting a dinner party with seated service and multiple courses?

For example:

How do you proceed if a few of the guests are slow eaters? Is it appropriate to make the rest of the dinner guests wait or to clear each course after a specific amount of time and serve the next?

Does anyone have a list or a successful way of doing this without over packing?

Is it necessary to be vaccinated for malaria or anything else for that matter?

Who in this forum can tell what equine internal parasites are species specific and which are transmittable to humans?

I am curious how many "real" answers I'll get.
