Or in any American sport for that matter. It would be great to see talented small teams get an actual shot at the big time. More exposure, money for the school and no more stupid BCS system.

My budget is about $325ish. It needs to be HDD based and have a 6-cell battery (or >5 hrs battery life), otherwise nothing else required. Dedicated graphics would be nice, a 1-2 gigs of ram (easily upgradeable), wireless N, bluetooth would all be nice features but not needed. I'm also looking at the ASUS Eee PC Eee PC 904HA and the MSI Wind U120-024US. Opinions?

I'm currently a Senior in High School, I'm on track to graduate, already been accepted to a state college. I have some friends, a few good ones. Never had a relationship, only one date. I live in Oregon, it was just a sunny day, that made no difference. My home life is decent. Mom and dad don't really get along...but nothing bad. I just keep myself isolated in a large room with a computer, TV and a great view. I'm fairly strong in my Christian faith and pray regularly. Why do I feel depressed? Nothing should be keeping me down...but it feels as if something is. How do I feel better? I have little money or time in my schedule and don't really want to take medication. More details to come

My cable company (countrycablevision.net) is a little hick town cable operation. They told me they have Digital cable. They gave me 2 options.

1. View it on a HDTV

2. Buy their $100 box

I would think when they say view it on a HDTV they meant an ATSC tuner (they do not currently provide HD). So I bought a cheap DTV converter box and plugged it in. NOTHING. It works fine on my hdtv (straight into the coax input), but not into the dtv tuner (a cheap walmart magnavox tuner). Anyway I can watch it on my DTV tuner?

2. 90 day warranty (as compared to 1 year)

Although it's $149 for 8gb and $249 for 16gb

So I asked this girl to homecoming, and she said she might be able to go. Now she's going with a group of girls. I asked her if she wanted to do anything this weekend...No. Next weekend? No. Weekend after that? NO. Either she's doing everything possible to ignore me (seems unlikely), or she's just really busy. How do I ask her if I should wait for her to become less busy so we can actually go out? It's my senior year at high school. Time is not on my side.

So me and a good friend of mine met this one girl in our pe class. She gets along with both of us well. I haven't had a relationship yet (I've asked out 3 people, but been turned down). He's had countless failed relationships. I wanna find a way to tell him "Dude, you've screwed up enough with too many girls...it's my turn to try now" How do I say this in a polite manner? It's a Computer Associates $15 walmart special. It's a behind the head headphone/mic combo. The mic works fine, but the headphones are dead. I've plugged them into my computer, psp, other computer, camera and nothing. I've messed with the volume knob on the devices and the headset, but still nothing. And I can't return it. HALP
