I've retired from fixing things for a living due to health problems.I still love to tinker and share my knowledge of 30 yrs of figuring out what makes things tick. So,if I don't know an answer,I'll look it up in a search engine just to stay sharp. It keeps my brain active.Over the years I've repaired engines;learned to do bodywork and painting of vehicles; home improvement; gadgetry;been through an apprenticeship for automated equipment mechanics;have repaired things sized from a tiny circuit board to a large 600 ton plastic molding machine; loved working in machine shop, doing welding.Nowadays, I like to use my welding as a sort of art expression, and it still helps me to feel useful if I can help someone save a bit of time and money and lower their frustrations.I've had complications from brain surgery and tis helps me to focus and stay sharp, helps me retain memory.I think this Yahoo thing is better than playing games because it keeps me sharp.
Which Wagner Spray Painter is best for around the house?
I've looked at so many different models online and now I'm SO confused! I had one years ago,a simple hand held model, reconditioned and it worked great.
1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoWhat's the best electric pressure washer for my money?
I'm looking in the $100 to $175 range. I've seen the reviews for Campbell-Hausfield,the $99 model is better than it's next one up.Husky 1800 is best rating so far all around at $170. Karcher wasn't getting any good reviews.I don't know much about Simoniz ones.I'm cleaning aluminum awnings to repaint;I need to clean my driveway and the house of Arkansas dust.It gets caked on everything!
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoMy dog is losing her fur in patches.Does this sound familar to anyone?
We've tried anti itch creams ( she licks them off);she has brewers yeast and linatone added to her diet. She has large patches around her tail that go comepletely bald in the spring...she's a mix of border collie and australian shepherd. We've tried some many different things I am clueless as to how to proceed. And YES she's been to the vet so often for this problem I told them to install a revolving door in their office with all the money I've paid them.We are looking for any alternative forms of relief besides dipping her in mud 24/7. I say this because it seems to relieve some of her symptoms when she rolls in mud.

1 AnswerAlternative Medicine1 decade agoI want to know how to change the font and color scheme on my 360 page?
In customize page they give examples with lots of arrows and lines on how to customize but all it lets me set is the background. The rest of the page is stark white...I'd like to add some darker colors to the page but can't figure how to go about it.
2 AnswersYahoo Profiles1 decade agoHow can I neutralize the odor of dog urine without buying something from a pet shop?

2 AnswersYahoo Profiles1 decade agoAre wood roaches different from cockroaches?
When I lived in New York, the roaches I saw at work were tiny in comparison to the ones I've seen here in Arkansas. I'm seeing bugs that are 3 to 4 inches long, large enough to throw a saddle on, and take for a ride! The ones I've seen in NY were only 1/2 to 1" long. My friend says they are called wood roaches...different than the cockroach kind.Is this true or is she pulling my leg?

5 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoI have Gugliemi Detachable Coils in my head.Has anyone else had complications from these, too?
I had brain surgery in 1997 and since the coils were inserted into my aneurysm, I've lived with nothing but excruciating pain daily. The docs said the coils compressed and its surgically impossible to re-operate at this time. I live my life from day to day.I'm trying to live without taking heavy duty pain killers and still be functional. My quality of life sucks at times. I practice meditation and pray everyday for relief. Anyone have any more suggestions for pain relief ?
