My Girlfriend and I are looking to drop some weight for our new years resolution, the first step, eating right, we dont make alot of money so really cant afford any of those weight loss foods that most stores sell, Ive suggested salads, and ricecakes because they are inexpensive and easy to make, anyone else have suggestions of food we can purchase and make that keep the calories down?

A few quick questions for you other tech happy freaks out there, I just hooked my computer up to my tv via S-Video, I go S-Video to a Converter, then a coax from the converter to the tv, now ive ran into a few problems, A. I can only get it to display in black and white, now i was wondering if this may just be my Video Card..i hope not!, but the converter can convert my Cable Connection to TV just fine in color so im thinking its not the Converter either and ive tried 3 S-Video cords, just wondierng if theres something i dont have set up via my computer, #2 I dont know if anyone knows any special settings but i have my computer display set to the largest it can go and things still seem kind of relatively small, wondering if anyone knows alot aobut TV to computer hook ups, just a really cool thing i found out and would like to know more, thanks for the help.

Recently i noticed alot of pain coming from one of my bottom left hand side teeth, looked in the mirror and sure enough, i had chipped it, and its a pretty decently large sized chip on the corner of one of my bigger teeth, now ive had minor chips before but this one hurts..all day long..so i asked sum1 and they told me its probably becuase i have an exposed nerve, well im waiting for my dental insurance to kick in(In 3 months) before i go and have an operation done i was wondering if anyone knew any tricks to relieve pain to a nerve while i wait for my dental insurance to clear, id be very appreciative, thanks!

Help plz question for homework!

I was playing basketball getting ready to take off running and it felt like in teh back of my leg someone threw and hit me w/ a marble or a small circular object, i then tried to put pressure on it and felt a sharp pain, i can walk on it but not w/ my foot elevated my foot as to remain flat, any MD's or ne thing plz help, will it heal on its own?
