  • Maltipoo puppy's hair keeps matting. What will help?

We have a maltipoo puppy with hair problems. His hair keeps matting up in places. I have tried various conditioning shampoos, as well as detangler. We brush him almost everyday, but when he goes out to play, he comes back with his hair matted. Any ideas as to what might help? He is being groomed next week, but I would like to keep him from getting matted.

  • Anyone else affected by Pet Food Call and dog having problems?

My pomeranian has been having kidney problems lately. Also drinking lots of water. A couple of days ago, he stopped eating his dog food and started eating the cat's food instead or his own dry food. I thought he was just getting old. Since he stopped eating his food, he hasn't been peeing in the floor anymore and not drinking as much water. Heard about the pet food recall today. I have been feeding him the pet food that was recalled. I plan on calling the 1-800 number of the manufacturer tomorrow and also calling my vet. Was wondering if anyone else has has problems or has called the number?

  • 2 Year Old with Dilated Pupils?

I have recently noticed that my 2 year old has very dilated pupils. they are equal size and do react to light slightly. They are just unusually large in normal lighting. He has not been sick lately and hasn't had any type of accident. He acts just like he always has. Wondering if anyone knows if this could be a serious problem. I am planning to call the pediatrician tomorrow, but looking for some answers tonight.

  • Ride Revolution at Bristol Dragway?

What exactly is ride revolution. I read the schedule on Thunder Valley website, but it doesn't say exactly what it is. How is it different from regular drag racing? Is it for certain types of cars? I'm thinking about going this Saturday.

  • Gravity Theory Question?

This is to settle an argument.

Who came up with the rule that if two objects are dropped from the same height in a vaccuum, they will fall at an equal rate of speed and hit the ground at the same time, regardless of weight difference.

I say it was Isaac Newton. Someone else says Galileo.

I'll need a web address for a page that will prove the correct answer.

    Thanks!

  • Need help from someone who knows about dogs!?

My 1-year old border collie was run over tonight. The obvious problem seem to be that the car somehow pulled his tail completely off. The bleeding stopped fairly easily. If I can keep the wound from getting infected, will it heal? There also could be some type of hip or leg problem. I didn't get to examine him closely. Leg appeared to be limp. This happened during the middle of a violent thunderstorm. Apparently he got scared and ran off into the road. I couldn't do much to check him after I caught him. I took him back to his doghouse and tied him up. He immediately crawled under our outbuilding (which is one of his favorite places). I can't get to him, and I didn't want to upset him further by trying to drag him out. I'm hoping he'll be okay until morning. Don't know whether to take him to the vet. I can't afford a lot of money for the bills. There is no use to take him if he'll need surgery or he can't be helped.

Any advice on what I should do for him?

In the band who performed the tribute to Buck Owens, who was the drummer?

And how long have they been doing the show from somewhere besides Nashville? (I haven't watched in a while.) Vegas just didn't seem right.

Wasn't it great that Vince Gill gave his trophy to that little girl!
