I need your guys' help/advice (not the most proper English, I know). I'm trying to find some websites about people and their control issues. I've not been able to find anything. Also, if anyone could tell me the basic reason(s) why we as people feel the need to control our situation, or sometimes, other people. Thanks a lot and God bless!

My brother and I have been discussing Mr. Obama's background. We know his dad,who is from Kenya, was raised a Muslim, though he claimed to be a "confirmed athiest". His mom, American, was "detached from religion". Obama has been baptized, that much I know; but I cannot find what faith he subscribes to now. Thank you for any information you can pass along!

I have been reading answers to the question "Why did God sacrifice himself to save humanity from himself?" and there were a couple of people (sumon1confused & zarah j) who referred to Jesus as "(p.b.u.h.)". I take it from their answers that they don't think much of Jesus. But is their anacronym meant to be derogatory and offensive? What do they mean by writing that? Any answers would be helpful, thanks.

My little niece, Cate, out of nowhere will scratch and pull hair. It is difficult to know what triggors her aggressive behavior. Most times, when she does this stuff, she is sitting on someone's lap, or sitting near her brother and/or sister. I babysit a lot for my sister's children (6 yrs., 3 yrs. and 15 months) and I just do not know what to do. She seems oblivious to timeout (in her crib) or to any sort of discussion on "nice touches". Anybody have any good, constructive ideas? I could really use some help. Thanks so much!

My sister and I saw the Passion of the Christ and we were wondering if anyone knew if the cloth that Veronica used to wipe Jesus' face had been given a name. For example, the burial cloth they used to wrap Jesus in after he died is called the Shroud of Turin. We were just curious. Any information might be helpful. Thank you

I have a dear friend from North Africa who wants to study computers at a university in America, but he is afraid that he will be turned down and won't be given a student visa. Anybody out there have an idea of what steps he should take to acquire a visa? Thank you very much!!

I have a brother who works in the film industry who insists that all three of these actors are gay and that their heterosexual relationships are just a front for their true secret lives...what do you think? has anybody found websites that attest to these ideas? i have actually found some, but i do not know if i think they are credible...thanks for your input, as i am greatly disturbed by the idea of it all...(lol...well, not really, but it sounds more dramatic when i put it that way...)

I mean I always thought about what I would say and I think the biggest thing I wonder about is why He made me...and what I would have been like if I had had a different mom or dad...

I am just wondering what it is that I am seeing when I see a "shooting star". Is it something entering our atmosphere, like a meteor or is it a dying star? Thank you for any answers.
