I own a Garmin GPS 760.

I need to use it in a bus I drive.

The bus is 24 volts.

Will I be able to use the 760 on 24 volts?

When I open Google window, at the top of the screen there appears 4 lines of tools that are taking space, like,Links- Yahool Tool Bar- Ask Tool Bar ect.

I click on Tools and remove the "Tick" and they are removed from the screen but the next time I open Google they are all back.

Question: How can I permanently remove them or at least make them disappear till I require at a later date. Thx all.

When I insert a DVD in my burner,it now automatically starts (what ever is on the DVD) instead of a window that appears with different options,such as Play DVD using Real Player-Play DVD using Media Player-Open File-Take No Action.

Could you please tell me how to stop the auto start and go as it was before.

after a period I now wish to delete it from my computer.

It wont let me till I put in the "Pass Word"

I have never used it and the technician cant remember the pass word.

Backup.

I am running windows XP home.

I am confused to know which backup program to use.

If I was to use "Ghost" backup am I able to download my backup in the case of a crash?

Also to do any backup am I able to use several DVD's? if so how to use more than one DVD?

Is there a "Backup program" you can recommend.

Keyboard.I am told there is a receiver that has to be inserted into the computer for it to work.

I have not got the receive as it is lost.

Question: Am I able to purchase a receiver?,what is the name of the receiver? and how and where do I install same.

from a DVD machine to a seperate VCR machine or do I require extra equipement.

I have tried several ways but it won't record to the VCR.

I have tried the reverse by recording from the VCR machine to the DVD burner machine and that works,what am I doing wrong or how can I do it.

now it is missing.

When I press on the program in the Start column it runs OK

than the short cut appears back on the "Task Bar.

I reboot ,the short cut is not on the task bar.

I am running Windows Home Version.

I put the windows DVD in the drive and when it loads a menu window appears.

There are 6 options to use.

I have clicked on all 6 and there is nothing to indicate where to find Windows "Backup".

I left my TV switched for 2 hours MAX with the HD box switched OFF.

When I returned home the screen was showing a blue colour,and in the centre of the screen the words "No Signal" was displayed.

Switching ON the HD box to watch TV, in the centre of the screen the words "No Signal" can be faintly seen in a Red colour.

Could you please help me and advise me how I can rectify this problem.

I am using IE7 on a Windows XP computer and having no problems at all.

I wish to download and run Firefox.

If I download and run Firefox will it wipe out my IE 7 or my "Favorites" or do any damage to IE 7 ?

If it's ok to use Firefox is there anything I need to know?

First I would like to thank Yahoo" questions & answers for a most helpfu forum.

For the last 2 weeks I have been flooded by annoying "Pop Up's",I have tried so many ways and used so many "pop up stoppers" and "antivirus" programs its not funny.

My last resort and will be my first next time, I went to Yahoo Q & A typed in "Pop up stopper " and read through the many Q & A all you guys have contributed to.

The program that has finally stopped all the pop ups is "SMITHFRAUDFIX .EXE" It costs $10.00 but is worth it.

There are many of you guys that are having problems with pop ups so I thought I would run this by you as I hope this helps you as it has helped me.

the time and date resets to 2005.

When I boot up the computer the date resets to 2005,I put in the correct time and date and is ok till I reboot than sets itself back to 2005

I am running Windows XP.
