on how to find a mate? I've had married friends/coworkers ask me why am I still single like it's a disease. Some have even hinted that I'm single because I'm "too picky" and that I just need to get out there and meet someone. Usually the people who are telling me this have been married for years and don't really understand what it's like to be single nowadays. It's very irritating (and hurtful) to have people act like singlehood is a crime. Have any other single people experienced this as well?

Sometimes when I tell parents about their child's bad behavior in the classroom, some parents become very helpless. I've had parents tell me "Oh, he does the same thing at home." or "He doesn't listen to me at home either." What do you do when you encounter such parents? I'm curious as to what advice other teachers give to these parents.

to call his teacher by the "tu" form versus the "usted" form? Some of the children in my classroom address me as "tu". When I try to correct them, they stop for awhile, but then go back to using "tu". Are they being influenced by American English or has Spanish become more informal? When I was learning Spanish, I was taught that teachers are respected and should be addressed by the more formal "usted". Is this no longer the case? Am I being too stringent? Please help; serious answers would be greatly appreciated.

Or have they given up hope that a messiah will ever come? Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and the Messiah, yet Jewish people reject him. If Jewish people do believe that a messiah will come, how will they recognize him? I am a Christian who has always been curious about this; I honestly mean no disrespect to your faith. Atlanta has Justin's. I was just wondering if there are any good soul food restaurants out here. When I get a soul food jones, I just usually cook my own, but sometimes I want to dine out. Unfortunately, the Inland Empire area is dead and doesn't really have anything. Any suggestions?
