  • How do you find reliable family counselors?

I would like to find some counseling for my adult family. I looked in the yellow pages on yahoo, but I don't know how reliable they are. I don't really know anyone who has done something like this so I can't really get referrals from friends. What are your suggestions??

  • How can I find out how much $$ my peers make @ work??

I am up for a raise in October. I really feel that when I was hired in, I was given a very low offer but I was in a position where I pretty much had to take it. I have now been with the company for 6 years and produced ver good results. The problem is, that my peers are spread accross the country and I don't really know them well enough to ask them how much $$ they make. What should I do??

  • Are fruit/nuts better for you than Doritos??

I bought some fruit and nuts from the frito lay dispay at the grocery store thinking that I was making a healthy choice. As I read, I see that the calories, fat and fiber are all comparable. The only real difference is the sodium is much higher on the Doritos. Are the fruit/nuts really a healthier choice?? Why??

  • How old should a child be when you give him his own pillow?

My son is 17 months old and I haven't given him a pillow in his crib yet. Lately when I've been checking on him in the middle of the night he has had his blanket bundled up under his head. I guess this means he wants one. I'm just nervous about sids or suffication. FYI, he is a 26lbs and 33 inches and walks and runs all over the place, he is not a "baby" baby. Thanks for your help!!

  • My dog hates my son?

I have an 8 year old dog. He has always been the sweetest most loving dog. We now have a 1 year old son. My dog hates him. Every time they are even in the same room, he snarles and barks at him. My dog loves other kids (as he always has). My nephews cam over recently (1 is the same age as my son) and my dog played with them like he was the nicest thing. I can't figure out what to do. I don't let the baby pull on him or hurt him in any way, but I want for them to at least get along. Please help as I don't know what to do! Can the vet help? Can he be trained for something like this? Aghh!!!!!!

  • Can we ditch our friends??

Our best friends asked my husband to help them drywall a wall in their kitchen. (My husband is very good at this stuff and our friends are not). He did it but while they were doing it, they decided to expand the project to drywalling the whole kitchen, which he did. During that process they decided to extend it out to do an ajoining room. Which he has done. It has been well over a month that this has been going on. He has been working on their house every day after work and all day on the weekends. It looked like the project was going to be done this weekend when yesterday they decided to put in all new cabinets and a new floor. This will probably extend the project another month or so. I want my husband back, but he feels terrible because they asked him to help and they really have no idea how to do any of it. How can we or should we even try to get out of this???? He doesn't want to leave them high and dry but come on!

  • Please look at my business idea and tell me your thoughts...especially female head of households!!?

Hi..I have this thought in my head for a new business idea. My husband doesn't think that people will very into it so I thought I would ask. I would like to set up a store type location and essentially make it all a commercial kitchen. We would have a large variety of recipes and fresh food. The food will already be cleaned, prepped etc. People could come in either alone or with a group of friends, and they will make their own "home cooked meals" They could make as many as they want, take them home and freeze them for use later on. This way you aren't wasting time grocery shopping or prepping food & you could have all of your meals already prepared so on normal nights you can just take them out of the freezer, heat them up and your family will have a hot meal that isn't from a drive thru. What do you think??? Thanks for the input!!
