In the sequence 1,2,3,8 are the next two numbers 27 and 64? i arrived at that conclusion because 1x1 =1, 2 is 2 to first power,3 is 3 to first power, 8 is 2 cubed. Trying to find a pattern by subtracting produces 1,1,5.Using that pattern the next two numbers are 9 and 10. Alternately, the difference between 1 and 3 is 2 and between 3 and 11 is 8 Continuing, the next number would be 19? Please explain how to solve this one successfully.

I have a Lexmark X3470 printer/scanner/copier that fits my needs perfectly. When I bought it I had Windows XP. Now I have Windows 7 (64 bit).. I spent most of last night and rose at 4:30 a.m. today because I had a document to print. What I found is that I would download software and find I had to pay for it. At Lexmark I attemped to download three times. The download had an hour and a few minutes left when I took a nap last night. When I got up again it was still at 38% downloaded and had the same amount of time left.

The Windows XP CD is no good for Windows 7 so I should not have to pay. Where can I find a link to a free download. Some of what I have downloaded does not want to uninstall. How do I get around that situation?

I have over 1000 photos and they are suitable to be placed on CD/DVD. I would like to create some CD/DVDs with them. Is there a way to disable copying? Are there companies that will create the CD/DVDs at a reasonable price and maybe even market them for me? I would like to make an income.

While i was organizing photos into folders,Ii was clicking randomly and found something called Photo Rrecover. I have a HP laptop/notebook with Window 7 and IE 8. There is Smart Media and Picasa.I have searched my computer but cannot seem to find it. Since it is on the computer or a program I use with the computer, there is no need to download such a program/software - which I do need. i would appreciate any help that is provided.

I need to practice a song urgently and cannot borrow a keyboard. I have searched for virtual keyboards but I am not satisfied with what I found. Sometimes IE8 stops working. At times it does not display the web page. I decided to change to Mozilla Firefox but that download was stopped.The download for Opera has been stopped too. I made Opera the default browser and placed it in trusted sites; but that has not made a difference. Opera comes up but Bing is still the search engine.I am unable to upload photos and I would like Opera Turbo and Opera Unite because of the features. Why is IE8 deciding for me? What is wrong with Opera and Mozilla Firefox?Even Writer won't download for me.I have Windows 7 and an HP Entertainment Notebook(64 bit). Please help.

During the download a window popped up to tell me that the download was stopped. The smart screen filter considered the download safe. How can I get IE to complete the download?. I bought a HP laptop in October 2009 and it is quite different from my desktop. I loaded a program to help me recover some photos but the software did not meet my expectations.i did not recover the photos. Since a laptop has limited space, i would like to delete it and make room for something more productive. How can I achieve this goal?

I accidentally erased some photos and I would like to recover them. Since some babies are born and live on their own at 26 weeks- even if in an incubator, iIwas perturbed by the fact. However, a friend said that a fetus is not a child until it takes its first breath. Then he said it becomes a living soul. I asked about the child who moves in its mother's womb.He said that is like comparing apples and oranges. My reading indicates that a cold has runny nose,sore throat but no aches or chills; and a flu has chills,aches,headaches but no sore throat. Thus, if someone has watery eyes and runny nose, chills,aches,headaches,sorethroat symptoms, is it most likely cold or flu?
