I know this is a silly question. I found out i'm 26wks pregnant and want to stop smoking. I had no morning sickness or any symptoms of pregnancy or i would have quit alot sooner. I'm wondering if the baby might be addicted now too,and if i quit,it might put me in preterm labor or the withdrawals will hurt her. I don't drink or take any medications,and the OB says she's perfectly healthy from all the tests. Since i've got about 14wks left,do i just stop cold turkey now? I'm more than willing,i just want to know it's not going to hurt more than help at this point.

I'm alittle concerned because i've had many miscarriages previously,and no live births. I want to keep this one!

My hCG levels went from 101 to 285 between friday and sunday,so that's a good sign,but for the past 3 days,my fever has been 99.7 to 99.9.

I usually keep a temp of around 97.9.

I feel really hot all over. Is this normal in very early pregnancy?

I don't have diabetes,and my periods come every 28 days TO THE DAY. Although they are extremely heavy,they are on time.

I only have a few cysts on my ovaries,not the classic PCOS "string of pearls".

My blood sugar stays around 80.

I took depo provera as a teen which caused me some trouble,no periods for 10yrs, 5 miscarriages.

I have no children,and don't really care if i have any at this point,so it's not for fertility reasons.

My only health issues are that i'm 30lbs overweight,and i have a cyst on my thyroid.

Will the metformin make the thyroid cyst go away or speed up my sluggish metabolism or something?Will it mess up my periods again? I've just now gotten them straightened out and on schedule!

I just don't understand why his nurse called me and told me to go to the pharmacy and pick up a metformin prescription.

I was chessnut brown. I went to a very reputable salon and asked for intense bright red.Light like amy adams. Looked through the color chart they had and picked out just what i wanted.

The guy went in the back a minute,came back out,and started slapping on color..he didnt seem to be putting much on at all. Ended up charging me $100,and the color came out dark cherry cola. Being i can't ever speak up for myself,i paid and left but i really hate this color.

Can i go get my own color and do it myself at home after it was just colored today,or will it damage too much? I don't plan on using bleach or anything like that. Just regular hydrience or herbal essence color.

I went to visit my cousin last night.

He coughed and said he was freezing and had been feeling terrible the past few days. I told him that didn't sound good and he needed to go see a doc. Well he did today,and it turns out he has the flu.

How likely is it that i'm going to catch it since i was sitting 3ft away from him? I'm totally paranoid right now since i have a weak immune system and seem to catch everything i'm around.

Is there anything i can do at this point to prevent it?

My oral surgeon prescribed me a 7 day course of keflex. I've taken it 5 days. I know you're supposed to finish what the doctor prescribes,but i did not have an infection to begin with. It was mainly for preventative measures. It is making me feel HORRIBLE. I think i might be slightly allergic,as i'm allergic to just about all antibiotics i've tried.

Since i didn't have an infection to begin with,would it CAUSE bacteria or infection to arise if i stopped it now? I honestly don't think i can take one more pill.

I was told to take it every 6hours after breaking out in hives from an allergic reaction to an antibiotic.

The hives are gone,and i stopped taking it every 6hrs,but i do still take 2tsps every night before i go to sleep.

Is that okay? I find it helps me sleep better/longer.

I had chemo shots back in 2003(methotrexate),and since then,my immune system has been low to the point that i get sick almost everytime i step foot outside of my house.

I drink OJ and eat fruits with vitamin C,but it doesn't seem to help.

Any suggestions?

I'm pretty much allergic to ALL antibiotics.

The docs put me on clindamycin and it almost killed me this week. (anaphylacic shock)

Is there a cream on the market that will help? I refuse to ever take another antibiotic after this scare,but i'd really like to get rid of this skin staph.

I want this drug out of my system NOW.

I have MRSA staph and the docs prescribed me clindamycin..600mg every 6hrs. It was too harsh on me so for 5 days i've taken 300mg every 6 hours.

I've started having a slight allergic reaction now. Extremely itchy hands on my palms,ears itching, and alittle trouble breathing an hour after i take it.

I don't want to take any more,even though they were prescribed for 10days. The doc said there is nothing else that will work to get rid of my staph unless i go into the hospital for 10 days..something i REALLY don't want to to.

Am i stuck? if i quit the antibiotic now,will the staph get worse?

This antibiotic is really starting to scare me.

I went to my administrative hearing and the judge awarded me disability due to extreme anxiety attacks and other issues.

I've been legally separated,but still living with my husband for 7yrs because we can't afford for him or I to move out,and we seem to get along as roommates.

The lady at the SS office called me today and said "call us back when he officially moves out,because his income affects your SS decision"

What does HE have to do with my SS at all? He brings no money into this household. His income,what little there is of it,he keeps. I have nothing to do with his money at all.

Does he really have to leave in order for me to get the disability i've already been awarded?

There are no salons that i've found in my area who do brazilian waxes. I need one desperately. I bought some hotwax and strips from a beauty supply and tried to do it myself with disasterous results(i glued my buttcheeks together omg)

Shaving the front is no problem,but i can't get that just waxed smoothness from a razor..and forget shaving between the cheeks The stubble is a killer. I have really sensitive skin,so i've always been afraid to use nair "down there" cause it says not to,and i'm almost certain i will rash out.

I literally have 2 inch long hair in some places and that must be the most unattractive thing ever.

I spent $100 on a bodybare electric razor and it didn't do a darn thing.

What's a girl to do???

My beloved rottweiler of 7yrs,Cheyenne, died yesterday from tainted pet food.

I had switched her to human food,turkey and beef,after the warnings came out about the pet food,but it was too late for her.
