  • Would a nation-wide walk out help bring the gas prices down?

All this middle east stuff you hear on the news is just an excuse to raise the gas prices. The oil industry is making millions off from these ridiculously high gas prices. If the American people did not go to work and did not buy anything or spend any money anywhere for at least 2 days, would that wake up the government and get them to do something about the gas prices? Or would that hurt the oil industry enough where they have to lower them? When I have to take out loans from the bank just to get gas to go to work on, this has gone way too far!!!

  • Loose Spark Plugs?

I have a 1988 Ford F-150 and today it started missing and loosing power and used 1/4 tank of gas to drive 20 miles. I got it home and investigated the problem and found 2 spark plugs were loose. It was the #1 and #6 cylinders (this is a 4.9 6 cyl engine). I tightened up the spark plugs and the truck had more power this afternoon than it has since I owned it, and got much better fuel milage. What would cause spark plugs to come loose? I know it's not stripped threads because they are holding in tight now.

  • Is drinking, going to bars, and listening to hard rock and metal a sin?

I am a Christian but I enjoy getting with friends on Friday and Saturday nights at the bar, shooting pool and having a few drinks and flirting with the ladies. I am not married, I don't get drunk, and when I drink I don't drive. I also listen to rock, heavy metal and upbeat country music. Is it a sin?

  • My 1988 Ford F-150 was involved in an accident. It has been repaired but now the engine is stalling.?

The truck was involved in a collision. The body has been repaired and now the engine stalling and will not start at times. Some say it is the fuel pump but when I checked it, the fuel relay was not kicking in, but the power relay was. I jumpered the fuel relay and the fuel pump came on, but it still would not start. I was thinking the EEC module was going bad but after looking at the wiring diagram, the fuel relay does not go through the EEC. I am thinking it is an electrical problem but I want your input on what the problem might be before I start in depth troubleshooting. I have checked the inertia fuel shut off switch and it is not the problem. Also I was told by someone that this truck has 2 fuel pumps, one on the frame and the other in the tank. According to the diagram, there is only one pump and it is on the frame rail. This truck has only one tank where most F-150's this year have 2 tanks and there are 2 pumps in those, one for each tank.
