My guppies (3 of them) keep rubbing on gravel and other surfaces. Its not that aggressive, but they've been doing it for quite a few days.

I can see that they haven't got Ick or any other disease visible to naked eye; they are feeding normal and are active as well.

Is this rubbing normal behaviour or should I be worried about it? :S Please help, thanks a lot :)

I have three goldfish and three kois. My goldfish (all three) have caught the ich parasite but the Koi look healthy-- for now. I have turned up the temperature, the filter is on, aeration system is on-- But I need to know how to cure the ich. I would prefer to cure it with salt treatment rather than chemicals; but I don't know whether the Koi is compatible with salt treatment.

Please help? What else can I do to help the goldfish and ensure it doesn't get worse?

One of my guppies, who I have determined as a male as it has a flashy orange and black santa monica pattern tail with a plain grey body, has got a dark spot on each side as if it were pregnant. It also has a swollen stomach, and I'm wondering, do some females also have flashy coloured tails? or do some males have spots as designs? or could it just be a disease or something it ate that has made its tummy swollen? its more swollen at one side than the other-- and it keeps twisting its body. Some help would be a appreciated a lot-- I'm new at keeping guppies, and I'm confused :S

I'll clear up that I do have a filter, but it has degraded somewhat. It still cleans, but is not that efficient.

I do have airstone in the tank, and I was wondering, do I need to change the filter to a more efficient one-- I carry out a water change strictly once every 5-6 days. I only have 5 guppies in the tank, and I'm not breeding any right now (they're all males).

I dont want music that is "conventional"... Junkband music is like making music out of tyre rims, empty cans...garbage lids, pipes, and such....

I would appreciate it if I could be able to find the music on the net somewhere, like yahoo search or dogpile.
