I live in New Orleans and it has been unseasonably cold here, as in the rest of the country. My Mandevillias are just sticks popping up from the dirt because of the cold. Unfortunately I didn't cover them in the winter. Will they re-bloom now that it's starting to warm up or are they doomed?

They are skinny mannequins. The store has to cinch the clothes in the back to make them fit the mannequin. This doesn't make sense to me. I think they should have plus sized mannequins. Just wondering what you think?

Is store bought spinach safe?

Mine was a few days ago. I was riding in a truck with my older brother, my hubby and my 17 & 11 year old nephews. My hubby mentioned that there was a Transformers movie coming out. (you know the changing robots) My nephews said simultaneously, "What's that?!" Man, I felt old. Anyway, I thought that was funny and thought I'd share.

I think it's the stupidest of stupid trends. However, it can't be outlawed. How would it be enforced? This is a huge pet peeve of mine. The other day I saw a gentleman walking down the street with his pants hanging down and he was holding them up as he walked. He was wearing a belt mind you. If he were to give someone a hug his pants would fall off! You can only be so tolerant. That is just silly.

I can't use hair dyes with harsh chemicals. Can someone recommend a gentle one? One that's available at Sally's Beauty Supply or a drug store. I know henna is gentle but doesn't come in black.
