  • guys... how long?

if your girlfriend said something that hurt you, it involved something very serious for you, how long might you stop talking to her to calm down and/or think about the situation? its been 3 days and I havent heard anything, but I think if he was going to break up with me, he would have said so.

  • advice for a gift/something for boyfriend?

My boyfriend is busting his *** at work, the past few weeks have been full of long overtime and issues with subordinates (he's a supervisor). we live 90 miles apart, so just dropping by is hard to do, but I want to do something to show I appreciate him and support him, what would be something a guy would like? it doesnt have to be mushy and romantic, just something to put a smile on his face because he is a wonderful man.

  • need ur opinions, gentlemen...?

I really hurt my boyfriend by disrespecting him, and we ended up breaking up. several weeks passed, we started talking again, and we are now back together. we both fell really hard for each other, to the point that we were acknowledging it is love before first sight (we met online and talked for a few weeks before we met, and it escalated fast). The thing is, I want to know if I should expect him to not be so forthcoming with his love for me now, AND what can I do to prove I will not hurt him, that he can trust me again. I really need a second opinion because I think the answer to those questions are #1-yes and #2-time. please tell me what you think, good guys especially, because he is not a player, he is a great guy.

  • I have ocd, is boyfriend testing me...other questions?

I have ocd, and it is more obsessive than compulsive. my new boyfriend and I were doing fine, but ine day I got stressed and obsessed about himnot calling, and after only 4 hours I called him, left a message that I figured we were over. obviously not the case, but it hurt him badly, I think more so because he is not a player and is honorable. I had never had an episode that bad before and thought it would be a one time deal, and we got back together. it happened again a minth later, this time because he didnt contact me at all for two days, and we broke up for good. we were apart for several weeks, and during that time I started seeing a doctor and researching cognitive behavioral therapy so I don't let myself hurt another person, another man, like that. we started talking again, and we actually ended up getting back together, but he has said it is conditional on me not freaking out on him again like that. the thing is, he is not contacting me as much now, and one of the things I told him if we got back together was that we had to build a stronger foundation between us. he agreed, but I am wondering if he is testing me now by not contacting me as much? I think it is somewhat fair because I hurt him before, but its not helping us build a foundation, or is it? I want second opinions on this, especially from men, would you test a woman who hurt you before? and would you do it so soon?

  • How do you handle Apserger's?

A spouse that may have Asperger's? My hubby believes he has it, and so do other people, but no, we haven't been to a doctor because both of us are wary of them. The problem is he seems to get locked into his own ways, his own world, and gets mad if we try to "interrupt" or try to do things out of line with how he thinks it should be. How can we interact with him to get him to relax these "ways"? It's tearing me and the kids apart. He constatntly complains that we aren't doing it the way he wants, like we should be up at a certain time, should do this chore or have this hobby, stuff like that. He also spends hours everyday on his computer watching anime or playing games, but gets mad at me when he gets off because we didn't spend time together, even though I have stayed home, trying to be unoccupied, so that we could. He is a very loving man, really and truly, but he is narrowly focused on these things. Suggestions?

  • Is it right for my husband to be mad at me for...?

not getting up in the morning? He has a job that starts at 6am but he leaves for work 30 mins early and its a 5 min drive. Tonight he got mad at me and the kids because he says he feels left out of the family because we sleep late. I get up shortly after he leaves to read for an hour or two but then go back to bed. I also like to work at night instead of the morning because I am a night owl, and he knows this, but gets mad because I stay up. Is it fair? What would be an appropriate way to resolve this?

  • Women in MMA?

I want to know when women will actually truly fight and not hug each other in the octagon? I am saying this because it really frustrates me to be excited to know women are finally getting into it, but then they fight and I am left holding my head and wondering what all the showboating before the fight with all their moves was when they can hardly do more in the ring than maybe grab, clench, struggle, repeat.... This is so frustrating!!!! Please, if there are any skilled women fighters who can actually do that stuff, would you please show yourselves? When will that happen? does anyone else feel the same frustration, no haters, eh?

  • Impeach Bush or oust Saddam Hussein?

If the American people are apparently so fed up with Bush that they want to impeach him, why haven't they?

2nd Question- if impeachment is this difficult to do, how can we say we should have left the Iraqis to oust Saddam? I would think that would have been much more difficult, especially considering death would be involved for anyone close to anyone trying to do it.

  • Iraq- why don't we go to the source?

The news keeps reporting polls taken of the American People about how they feel the war is going, and most politicians are claiming that we should either continue it or stop it based largely on these polls.

My question is, do the American people really know what is going on over there and can we decide how it's going based on our knowlegde?

From my perspective, the news agencies report deaths and acts of terrorism and resistance, but what about everything else that is happening? I have seen many things that are not reported by the major news agencies because I watch the History Channel, etc., or surf the net and happen upon things, but I never see anything but death and terror on the news. If all we the people mostly see is what the news gives us, isn't our view going to be distorted, no matter how we feel, because the news is deciding what to show? Do people really believe the only thing important that's happening there is just what's seen in the news?
