My 18 month old Shih-tzu cross dog was neutered yesterday, May 4th. He takes his heartworm medicine the 5th of each month. Do you guys know if it's safe to administer it to him today? I was a little too scared the whole day about the process, and impatient to go back to the clinic to pick him up that I totally forgot to ask the vet there. I will call in the morning once they open but wanted to get some insight on here as well. Thank you!

We've had him since October and he is now about 8 months. I'm currently not working so I'm home most of the day. We've crate trained him and he was doing exceptionally good (no peeing AT ALL) until about a month ago. I went out to run errands for about an hour and put him in the crate before leaving. I returned an hour later to find out he peed in his crate. He peed in his crate 4 days in a row every-time I left the house. Then he would stop for a few days and do it again. He follows me everywhere in the house. I move from one room to another say to open the curtains in the living room, he follows me. He follows me to the bathroom and I make him sit outside the bathroom door because allowing him will probably make him think it's okay for him to go after me all the time. Sometimes I bring him along with me when I go out. For example I stop by to get some gas and when I get out of the car, he freaks out. He jumps from the front seat to the back like a psycho dog. Sometimes we go out, me, my husband and our puppy and on the way back my husband tries to take him to the grass area so he can do his business and when my husband says "come on Muffin" he just sits on the ground and looks at me because he sees that I am not going with them, he starts pulling on the leash etc. Lately when I am leaving the house and putting him in his crate, I blast the music all the way up so he can't hear me opening/closing the door. It seemed to work for several times but yesterday he peed in his crate again. I really don't want to lock him up in his crate anymore. I want to leave him out of his crate when I leave the house but he leaves me no other option. I am afraid he will pee/poop/destroy things in the house if I leave him out of his crate. FYI, he doesn't pee/poop in his crate overnight. Do you think this may be separation anxiety? Is there anything we can do about this? Thank you so much!

My puppy is a Mal-shi (Maltese x Shih-tzu cross) and I love him to pieces. He's 7 months old, I'd say he's is pretty good shape. I don't freak out about everything puppy/dog related, like I know some people do and I feel kind of silly asking this question but I still want to get others' opinions. Currently we go on a walk everyday at a local park. I checked the park information and this trail is about 1.3 miles and we do two laps. Is that too much for him? The other day in the beginning of our second lap, he would walk a little bit then unexpectedly stop. I would need to say "come on Muffin" for him to continue. So I am thinking he was tired and didn't want to walk any longer. Maybe it is too much for him?

I have never subscribed to Shape magazine to receive it in the mail monthly and so far I have got the October issue in the mail about a week ago, and today I found a November issue in my mailbox. While I like this magazine, I would like to know why I keep receiving it when I don't pay for it? If I am not paying for it, and I am sure that I am not, then who is?? Anybody else having this problem? I know anybody would like to get free stuff, but this is kind of annoying.

We recently adopted a puppy, about 5 days ago. We're training him to go to bathroom outside, and so far he's doing very good, he ends up eliminating every time. However almost every time I take him out on the grass to go, he ends up either eating or chewing grass. I want to train him so he knows I want him to do his business on the grass. I think he may be thinking I am putting him on the grass to play or something. How can I teach him we're there for him to eliminate? Thank you so much for your answers.

Someone I know has left the U.S. about a year ago - due to medical conditions therefor unable to work - while having some debt. They weren't able to make any payments in the past year, however now they want to travel to the U.S. and actually start filing for bankruptcy, does anybody know of any penalties or anything of that sort that they might face at the Customs? Is Customs even aware of this? The person has a dual citizenship, one being U.S. Now, I called a few different lawyers, and some said there is nothing they can do and that they should be just fine but some said that they have no way of knowing what the Customs is capable of doing. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

If the couple is currently seperated, and most likely will file for divorce, and the petitioner (U.S. citizen) has moved out, does she/he have to change their address with USCIS?
