The question is based on the movie "Wall Street", starring Micheal Douglas (as "Mr. Gecko") and Charlie Sheen (as "Bud"). I watched the movie, but there are particular lines or scenes I did not understand, hope you people did.......

In the 19th minute, Bud says to Mr. Gecko that "A firm's breakup value is twice its market price". What does Bud mean? How will the employees of the firm react to the statement?

In the 33rd minute, Mr. Gecko says to Bud, "Why cant fund managers beat the S&P500? Because they are sheep!" What does Mr. Gecko mean by this kind of statement? How does it relate to market efficiency?

Three people went to Hell: a philosopher, a mathematician and a fool. When they met Satan, they asked for forgiveness and Satan said that if they're able to to answer his question, then only will that person be exemted from Hell. Satan held a tool in his hands. The tool had three holes in it: Hole1, Hole2 and Hole3. Satan sat on the tool and farted!! Then he openly asked them to tell him through which hole his fart came out (a subject is deaf to the voice of his other two compatriots).

I'm a guy and my best frnd happens to be a girl. we were best of frnds for a yr and thn she proposed to me. i ws happy, but i didnt like the idea. fine, it took me a week to decide and i expressed my lov to her on feb14. within a week, she started going out with another guy! i ws her frnd i was supposed to lissen to wht she had to say, but i didnt and i unleashed all my fury on her (nothing physical, but mental harrassment). she knew i ws doing whtevr i ws doing, but there was no evidence to prove me guilty. it was so bad, tht even her dad cudnt protect her and thy had to call in the cops. aftr tht i became quite. thn i realize tht i'm missing a frnd and if i had thought abt the matter, i'd hav lost my girl-friend, but i wudnt have lost my frnd. i said sorry many times and her frnds tried to patch things up, but no matter wht, whn we get together again, its not the same.. we start fighting! none of us can 4get the past. she cant stand me, and i cant stand her, but i miss her lots...

the problem is tht she is a very sweet girl, and i am not tht good looking. i also have problems talking to girls (i'm kinda shy. its not tht i dont talk to girls, but i m scared talking to ppl i like bcoz something tht i say can ruin the friendship between us; i talk a lot of crap and love to pull ppl's legs!). i also have financial problems (but the problem is not extreme). u knw, having a gf means spending, but how do i get her to be mine without spending too much? wht does a girl want or wht are her thinking ways? hw do i create an ever lasting impression being me? she's very cute, but she has turned down all the proposals tht came her way. why is she doing tht? i've been single all my life, so i realy dont knw how to go abt this situation, so i really need extensive help!! hope i was able to Xplain my situation.
