  • iphone 4 button not working?

I am out of contract on my iphone 4, use only for wifi. Today suddenly the button at the bottom of the iphone will not work to take me back to the main menu. To switch between apps I have to switch off and then back on again to get back to main menu, then if for instance i go to my mail, i then have to switch off again to get back to main menu. Is this a common problem, is it easily fixed and if anyone knows, how much would it roughly cost if fixable. Many thanks for any information

  • my 3 year old tom cat has breathing problems?

I noticed at the latter part of last week that my cat was breathing quite hard, not only when he was awake but also when he was sleeping. I took him to the vets on saturday morning, and they did a scan on him and also some blood tests. After a while they came out and said it didnt look good as he had fluid on his lungs. They then shaved him on both sides and removed liquid (when the vet showed me the liquid it looked very much like milk). When smokey cat came around he was breathing a lot better but not purrrfect (sorry could resist that one). They let me take him home and gave medication for him, and asked me to take him back on Monday which I did. They didnt want to xray him again as it was only 2 days later, but asked me to take him back this coming monday. They said he possibly has heart problems or a tumour, the pills that I have been given for him are: Synulux, Benezapril, and Frusemide. I have never had a cat before, and just wanted to know if there is any hope for him. His breathing is still a lot better, I wouldnt say perfect, but definately a lot better than it was. - The vet said on Saturday that if I didnt take him on that day, he probably would have passed away by the end of the weekend, thank God I knew something wasnt right

  • Super SAINTS vs Man Utd today FA Cup 4th round?

Ok from the question you can tell who I want to win today, but your thoughts please. On my side: We are at home, we are the under-dog, my young team play, score and win regularly (slight blip last weekend). If Sir Alex puts in a few youngsters into his squad, could it change the dynamics and give my team the advantage? scoreline predictions please - I gotta go for a 3-1 Rickie Lampbert first scorer -COYR

  • 6 year old border collie going crazy?

Hi I wonder if anyone can advise me regarding my mums border collie. Mum has had him since a puppy, he has had all of his injections and appears happy and healthy. In the past 3 weeks, on 2 occassions he has gone completely bonkers. On the first occassion he was in the garden with mum as she was talking to a neighbour, he suddenly started barking furiously, running around like a nutty dog, ran from the back garden to the front garden and back again and then back again, barking all the time, then he (poo poo)ed all around the garden as he was still running. We thought that it was just a mad five minutes, or that perhaps he had caught his claw on something and was in pain. After about 5 mintues he was ok again. Then yesterday he was in the house, in his bed, when he jumped up again, ran up and down the stairs, round and around the house, up and down stairs again, and pooing again all over the place, he was also barking loads, then again after about 10 mins he was ok again. Mum is very worried as my sister with 2 young children go around every day and she is worried that Finlay (dog) may hurt either of the children. Mum is about an hour away from the local PDSA and she is going to take him there as soon as she can get someone to take her, but with the snow about its difficult this week.

Does anyone know of this happening to another dog, any ideas what it could be, just so I can perhaps put her mind at rest for a couple of days at least.

    He is fine today.

  • sun newspaper...how much is it where you are?

Was in Southampton last week and the Sun newspaper is 30p.

In London its 20p and has been for years....

Question is how much is it in your part of the UK, and why do you think its cheaper in London, bigger circulation? so I guess it would be £1 in Liverpool as I heard that it doesnt sell many up there

  • Do you think Southampton can make the playoffs?

    Hi Guys and Girls.

Right, with 4 games remaining for my team Super Saints, my question to you all is...can we make the play offs. (even though we were deducted 10 at start of season)

If super Saints win all four remaining games we will finish on 78 points

Huddersfield can then go on to win one game, draw one game and lose one game and we would still finish on the same points but with a higher goal difference, they only have three games left.

    Southampton have yet to play

    Oldham H

    Carlisle H

    Gillingham A

    Southend H

    Huddersfeild have

    Stockport A

    Colchester H

    Exeter A

    Your expert opinions please peeps

  • Why would any football fan have my question deleted?

I posted a question earlier about paying respects to the 96 who died at Hillsborough...I know we all support different teams, but we are all alike, we are fans who love and follow our teams. Yet someone seemed fit to report my question which has since been deleted. So to those who objected first time round, remember, it could have been any of us !!!!!

I am highlighting line 1 and going to the Window and freeze panes. However it is freezing the first 7 lines, including header, but I only want to freeze header and do not need to see the first 7 lines constantly.

Can anyone please help / advise on how to freeze line 1 only.

  • How good are my team at the moment?

Super Saints have knocked in 10 in the last two games, ok were 3rd division (league 1), but from where we have been in the past 5 years, we are having a great season. Can we make it to the play off place, or do you think we have left it too late - Still 14 games to play and 42 points up for grabs - Oh its great to be a Saint.

  • Kay Scarpetta by Patricia Cornwall?

Apparently Angelina Jolie has got the part of playing Kay Scarpetta.....Now im sorry, but it is wrong on so many levels.

Kay is blonde, italian/american origins, in fact Patricia is Kay.

When you have read a book which has the same characters for what some 15 books you get to know the characters and Angelina Jolie is not a character in Patricia's book. Jodie foster would be a great Lucy, andy sipowitz...(I know that is not spelt right), the actor who played him would be Marino, Benton could be played by a harrison ford type of actor - your thoughts please on Ms Jolie playing Kay
