Does anyone know why all the shops in the UK seem to be out of stock of The Help DVD? Ive tried a few supermarkets and HMV's but there are none to be found. I know i could buy it online but im just curious

im making a film and wish to film inside a bar, the manager tells me that they will require a contract edit and veto rights. what exactly does this mean? am i right in thinking that they have a say in what i can and cannot put into the final cut and would have to show them the rough cuts and make changes according to them and veto rights mean that they can decide to say no. is this right? if anyone knows exactly what both of these mean, then ill appreciate your help, please dont just tell me to google it

the handbrake of my 52 reg vauxhall corsa hasnt been working as well lately, there seems to be a metal plate covering the area where the handbrake should be so is there another way to tighten the handbrake cable? any help would be appreciated

I'm a film student in the UK and would like to buy my own camera so I can make my own short films. I'm looking for a reasonably priced (£250 is my limit) camera with like a hard disc drive so I can simply upload the footage to my computer without the use of tapes or dvds etc. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm writing an essay about the Fantasy film genre and I need to identify the key features of this genre, I've looked on loads of websites and I cant find any books on the subject, can any film student or tutor help me out, dont suggest wikipedia cos I've looked. All I want are the key features of this genre (characters, story, key plot points, themes etc). Any help would be appreciated.

I've been having this discussion with a colleague who enjoys the comic book genre as well and we were wondering in The Avengers movie, who should be Captain America, Ant Man (Edgar Wright's movie) and Wasp (who no doubt will be in it). I think John Cena would be quite good as Captain America, i'd be interested in your views and please be sensible.

I've read the 52 series and I was wondering what the series is that leads up to 52, i've looked and there are different collections, "Infinite Crisis", "Crisis on Infinite Earths", "Identity Crisis", is it all three? Or certain ones? If its all three then what order are they in? Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know why there arent any Tattoo conventions in Scotland, surely we have a rich tattoo history so why is it that England has conventions and we dont (Liverpool, London etc), we have the resources, we can host them in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, we have loads of concert halls and arenas to have them so why dont we? Any thoughts?

I have an Advent 3112 PC and about 4 months ago I found my CD's wont play on it anymore, the drive lights up and makes noise but it just stops afterwards, I've also tried on a Toshiba laptop and again nothing, I also tried having the songs put on a USB but the songs wont go on because they are not the right format, the CD's are new (Green Day and Paramore), is it them or the PC? Please help

I've watched Lie To Me with Tim Roth and I'm interested in the work of Paul Ekman who worked closely with the show, I've found this latest book Telling Lies: Clues to Deceit in the Marketplace, Politics, and Marriage and was wondering if anyone has read it and what they think of it, more importantly can anyone who hasn't studied this topic or read any of Ekman's other books in detail read it? I am interested in Psychology but I dont want to buy this book and end up 10 pages in and not understand it at all (I did the same thing with Freud's Interepretation of Dreams after I read The Interpretation of Murder). If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

I'm thinking of starting a japanese sleeve and I want to start with a japanese dragon on the right side of my chest, I live in the East of Scotland and I don't have that much faith in the places i've been before for other tattoos, does anyone know of any tattoo artist or artists in the East of Scotland or Edinburgh that do really good japanese style tattoos or dragons? Any help (websites, pictures etc) would be appreciated
