i was given these by my husband's exwife. they are like one week out of date - still perfectly good. but, here's the problem - my stepsons don't eat them, my husband doesn't eat them. my daughter and i do, but you can only eat so many! i have given some away to neighbors, but i still have about 15 bags left.

i don't want them to go to waste...we are going to a halloween party this week, and i figure there has got to be something i can make w/ them to take! i love to cook and create my own dishes, but am running out of ideas on this one!

I am hosting a lingerie shower next month & the menu is candy/fake sushi. But, I want to balance out the sweet w/ a couple of savory offerings. Finger food would be best, but I am open to most anything.

I am throwing a lingerie shower next month and the bride loves sushi and desserts. So, I am going to make the 'candy' sushi to serve. I have a couple of receipes (rice krispie treats, sliced up little debbies, cream cheese mint 'wasabi') but I was wondering if anyone had tried any other something.

I am also looking for some Asian-inspired nibbles to go along, too, so there will something savory to go w/ all the sweet.

I have been thru all the meds, am allergic to the adhesive in the patches (causes blistering on my skin) and the gum is NASTY! I have been told that quitting cold turky while doing a 1 week body detox (like a juice fast) can work great since the detox helps flush your system of the nicotine. Has anyone ever tried this? And do you have a plan for the detox you can share?

This was a big topic at work today...

I caught grief about being a tease because

1. I had no problem w/ being the agressor if I saw a guy I liked

2. I am a flirt

So, what do you think a tease is???

At the end of each commercial, you see the couple sitting in seperate claw foot bathtubs, holding hands. The tubs are sitting in a field, in the water, etc. I just don't get what message they are trying to convey w/ this!

I mean, how many jokes and/or references have you heard about him in your lifetime? Will an entire genre of American comedy have to be re-written? I know in the scheme of current events, its not that big of deal, but the thought of the impact is really interesting.

My kids attend a small private school that has no organized Parent/Teacher group. I am trying to find out how to go about starting one from anyone who has been through it.

Do you have officers?

How often does just the core group meet?

How often are open meetings held?

How close do you get to work with the school board on things?

(I am also considering running for the school board)

Any and all ideas would be so greatly appreciated!

I mean, why do people post questions and get answers from people, then don't even bother to pick the best answer or whatever? Is it just me, or do the either 1) forget about it or have gotten bored? or 2) let the answer go to vote in hopes of getting points back?
