Okay, so I was given a family heirloom, which is a ring, with 12 tiny clear stones that look like diamonds dotted all round the circumference. The middle band of the ring is a yellow-tinged silver, and has the 12 clear stones dotted around it, with this pattern between each stone: >||<

Imagine the > is filled in. The designs either side of the middle band are quite hard to explain, rich gold in colour - it is 2 zigzags, when one zigzag dips down the other raises up. The middle band takes up pretty much all the ring, with the side zigzags being very small in width. I have taken 2 clear photos of this ring from different angles, and here they are:

Hallmarks: 'FG', no border, just FG in capital letters. A hallmark too small for me to see inside of, it kind of looks like a christmas cracker with one end missing, a bit like this but much more cracker-shaped <===

And then two squares, clearly 2 seperate squares but very close to each other, almost like a sideways hourglass but square shape (twisted together in the middle, kinda)

Please can somebody help me identify what this ring is, what time period is it from (ie 1950s etc.), how much it is worth and what the hallmarks mean etc. etc.

Ah, its a R&B song, i think by a black guy, and he's kind of half rapping half telling a story kind of thing, like puff daddy and faith, but its not that song!! I was singing it this morning with intent to search it up, but i've forgotten the lyrics completly when i started singing bill withers lovely day!

I have a very small room, and my single bed takes up around half of it... I also have a lot of stuff like bags and boxes under my bed, and I was on the floor poking around them when a (in my opinion) huge black spider with skinny, jointed legs but a large abdomen and head, came crawling lightning fast across the carpet under my bed. Having a phobia of spiders, I screamed, ran and shut the door behind me. I think it might be a male house spider, but I'm not sure. I read somewhere that female spiders have fatter legs, but this one's legs were not too thin and not too fat.... What should I do???????? By the way, I am NOT going back in there...

There was a website I went on ages ago which prompts you to fill out a form with lots of things like "who do you love" and "what is you favorite colour" and stuff like tht... it says it will calculate something but i cant remember what - and when you've done it tricks you and sends all that info to the person that sent you the link (like my friend now knows a lot of stuff about me) - please can someone tell me a similar website or the same one (bear in mind this was a few years ago)

I have a Gateway MD2614u, which I have very recently installed Windows Vista SP2 onto. It came with pretty much nothing, and I had to install the WLAN driver onto it via a USB. I also have a BENQ w500 projector. Before I performed a clean install of Windows Vista (Home Premium, 32 bit), the HDMI cable was connected from my laptop to the projector and it worked fine. When I plug it in now, it just says 'HDMI - No Signal'. Also the speaker system that plugs into a headphone socket thing won't pick that up either. I tried with another laptop and it all works perfectly - what should I do? Please note I only yesterday downloaded the new OS

I have a Gateway laptop with Windows Vista installed, and the laptop is fine when the power is not plugged in (running off battery) except for crashes here and there. I regularly use a projector plus a HDMI cable with the laptop, but if I plug in power a blue screen comes up with something about a crash dump. I am not very good with computers, and sometimes it can take a few minutes, but the blue screen is pretty much guaranteed... Please can someone help me?

Foam was coming out of my beer bottle really fast so I ducked down to put my mouth over it and chipped my front tooth. It feels like a lot of the back bit of it has gone too, but the bit that chipped off looks relatively small (about a quarter of the size). I have kept the chip and I (please don't laugh :/) put it on ice just in case. Can the dentist glue it on or something? If not how much is it to get a replacement bit of tooth? I am 15 by the way...

I have got a .iso file and put into Aimersoft Video Converter Pro but when I try to drag the .srt file onto the screen (AVC Pro just took the main movie) it just says the file fails :(. Can somebody tell me how to do it, or if there is another program to use that has no watermark etc?

(a.k.a WILD) I have learned all about Lucid Dreaming (LD) and WILD. I have tried twice doing WILD and every time I get a clear focus on the 'dream' it fades away. Both these times I was waiting for half an hour, following the usual procedure. I have kept a dream journal since yesterday, and recorded down a dream as soon as I woke up (it definitely was not an LD). Should I give up WILD and just go for the pot luck LD while I sleep? And yes I do make reality checks in the day :)

I have an old edition of "The Story of Heidi" no date but says in handwriting at the front "Christmas 1953". I have also Hans Andersons Fairy Tales With Illustrations By W Heath Robinson made in 1980. The last one is Mother Goose illustrated by Arthur rackham made in 1994. Thanks.
