  • I can't watch videos or play games. Why?

For some reason my computer won't open up any online games, or youtube videos. It takes me to the page with everything there but the actual video or the game. Does anyone know why? On facebook, it told me my JavaScript was disabled. I thought that might have had something to do with it, so I checked, and it looked enabled to me. Any other suggestions?

  • Should I still go to prom with him?

So this guy asked me to prom a while ago. We've been talking for a while, and almost two weeks ago we started dating. He broke up with me tonight, but he still wants to be friends and "go to prom and have a good time." Prom is less than two weeks away. I'd feel bad leaving him dateless, but at the same time, I don't know any of his friends we'd be going with, and I will feel like an idiot being there with an ex-boyfriend I'm not over. The other thing is, I'm only a sophomore, so if I don't go with him, I won't be going at all, and I don't want my mom to get mad at me for not using the dress she bought me. What should I do?

  • How can I tell what his motives are?

So, I've been talking to this guy for a few weeks now. We talk online pretty much everyday, and we text sometimes too. I don't see him too much at school, but I talk to him when I do. He's always really sweet. He tells me I'm beautiful, he can't wait to see me, he misses hanging out with me, etc. He told my friend he liked me and wanted to take me out, and he asked me to prom and everything. Now this chick from my school who I don't really know is telling my friend that I should be careful, because he treats lots of girls this way, so he can get in their pants. How seriously should I take her warning? I am in no way planning on letting him or anyone else get in my pants, and if that's why he's sticking around, I'd like to figure it out so I can move on before I get hurt. Now that I know I should maybe look out, how can I tell if that's really what he's after?

  • Does anyone know this song from an episode of Scrubs?

It's that episode where this lady is waiting for a heart transplant or something, and she and JD kind of become friends. When he asks her what she thinks death will be like, she says it will be like a Broadway musical with everybody singing to the rafters. Then she dies at the end of the episode, and it ends with her singing this song. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? I think there's a line in it like "Don't you understand/ I already have a plan."

  • Kind of a gross question, but I don't know what to think...?

I just went pee, and when I peed, a little thing came out of my vagina. It looks like some tissue or something, but it has little red streaks in it. I'm not on my period, though I will be in about a week. I did notice a little more clear discharge than usual today, and after this "thing" appeared, I've had some abdominal cramping. Any clue what just happened to me?

  • Does this mean I could be anemic?

Is it true that if a ring turns my finger greenish-blue, I could be anemic? It's not the quality of the ring, I know that. But I've heard that this could be a sign of anemia. Is that true?

  • What is a good historically accurate Civil War movie?

Can anyone give me the title of a movie that takes place during the Civil War and is fairly historically accurate? I'm not asking for a documnetary, just something I can get from Blockbuster. It doesn't even have to be about the Civil War necessarily, but it should take place during that time period in America. Thanks for your help!

  • When to break up?

I'm getting sick of my boyfriend of 4 months. I don't look forward to hanging out anymore; it's more of an obligation. He sort of gets on my nerves, and I just don't feel the same way about him that I used to. He still really loves me, and I feel bad that he thinks I feel the same way. To complicate matters, I also like another guy.

I don't know if breaking up with him is the right thing to do simply because nothing ever really went wrong. I just don't love him like I used to.

Is this just a phase I'm going through? Or is it time for us to call it quits? This is my first boyfriend, so I have no idea how these things work.

  • What song should I use?

I'm making a video of sorts that is a compilation of pictures from a trip we take each year. The "we" refers to the three families that go on this trip annually-we're all very close, and we act like one big family. What song do you think I should use to capture our memories? Something a little sentimental, but not too sappy to remind us of how over the past several years we have all remained close, even though so much has changed. I'm open to all kinds of suggestions. Thanks!

  • Architects/Engineers...?

I have to conduct this interview for my geometry class. We're building a structure out of 10 file folders, and when we test it, it must hold at least 45 pounds. I'm supposed to interview someone with some expertise on the subject of building structures. Here are the interview questions:

    What is your name?

How are you qualified/what is your job?

How does geometry affect your work?

What should we know about tension, compression, equilibrium, and rigidity?

What geometric shapes work well in buildings that support a lot of weight?

What designs are most suitable for tall, weight bearing buildings?

How does the structure of a building affect its strength?

How would a design change once a building's height is increased?

What type of building codes might be able to help us in the building of our structure?

What historical buildings would be a good basis for our design?

How would you begin to design a structure with our materials and guidelines?

    Thanks!

  • Why isn't my garter snake eating very much?

I have a garter snake that's a little over 2 years old. Over the past few weeks, she hasn't been eating as many feeder fish as she normally does. I usually feed her 12, but recently she's only been eating about 8. She hasn't shed in a while either. Could it be related to that? If so, should I just let her take her time, or is there something I should do? Are there any other possible causes?

  • Should I tell my mom that I don't like the gift she bought for me?

My mom bought me a cross necklace for my Confirmation. I really don't like it, and it's not something I'd ever wear. She told me she had a gift receipt so we could take it back if I wanted a different one. I'd be happier with a different necklace, but I don't know how to tell her without feeling bad, or making her feel bad. I feel uncomfortable telling her that I don't like it, because she picked it out, and it was for a special occasion. I don't want to insult her, but she's going to ask eventually, if I never wear it. What should I do?

  • Do you pray at the dinner table?

Please, don't say "no, because God isn't real." I'd mainly like to know from people who follow some sort of religion involving prayer.

If so, what do you pray? Do you pray the same each time, or is it always different? Just wondering!

  • Do you know anybod that fishes for complements?

For instance, they always tell you they're fat, so you'll tell them they're not. Or, they say their outfit's ugly, so you'll say they look gorgeous?
