Is it an English expression or a proverb?

The girl who used to have crush on my boyfriend added me on her facebook list and I tried to give her benefits of doubt and tried to make her my friend. But the thing is, I had a nagging feeling that she wanted to know me only to get close to my boyfriend since he did not even talk to her that much. I did ask her why she wanted to add me, and her reason was = Just because.

And while I kept talking to her, I found out that she might be a victim of loneliness and low self esteem and I never treated her differently because I felt that she ws just lonely and she was not what she potrayed herself to be.

At the same time our mutual friends told me that she never failed to ask about my boyfriend and recently invited him to her birthday party.

Did she just want to be my friend to get in track with my relationship with my boyfriend?

Should I just continue be her friends and be wary?

Am I wrong to suspect her genuine motives?

i used to have a friend who currently cant get enough of trying to ruin my friendship with others. my bf asked me to ignore, and i think im going to do the same.but im afraid this liar will try to tarnish my reputation!!

i am so confused in deciding my major. my first love is journalism, but i dont know whether the hardworks will be worth the salary. pr sounds appealing but i dont think i love it as much as i do love journalism.
